Ive noticed a growing trend in this community: Hate.
Now, sure, we've all been peeved by ganks, by silent killers, by OORP comments. But, really, that's just annoyance.
However, as of late, Ive seen more than just that. Ive seen people killed because they dont like them, or dont like their faction. Ive seen people killed over personal, OORP vendettas. Ive seen people systematically targetted simply to piss them off, or make playing difficult. Hell, just a few minutes ago, I was killed by a Junker who ADMITTED to targetting my miner specifically because he "hates" the ICMG.
Is that really where we're going, as a community? Is that really the kind of thing we want to spread even further amongst our members?
Oh and yes I do have a "Me want him dead when I see him online list" sadly. But still I'll be talking and he or she can judge if hes gonna shoot me first or try to talk to me.
And yes spazzy's anger also has a fun side. You know you can gank him but you know you get ganked back. so as long as you don't mind about it you can have the double fun back by killing spazzy ^^ and having a kill shot of lick.a.brick or whatever is really worth is for some reason.
yes, we all have personal feeling, but only the ones that show the personal emotions in an open disrespectful manner ruin the game experience.
no matter how much you hate your opponent Finnish the fight with "//that was a good fight, you really fought well" and it will make disco a better place.
once when I was about to forgive someone (and let him back in system) after I openly ganked him, but when I PMed him "//that was a good fight" he immediately retaliated with "SUCK IT YOU ****". some people have little to no self control.
