[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
People will not quit being people if you'll tell them "please, don't". This is human nature to have opinions and biases all over around.
And people don't like to loose, sometimes it's healthy competition, sometimes it's something else. One can't castrate himself after loosing, he'll be thirsting for revenge and it depends in what form that revenge will comes to us finally.
One thing I have noticed... in all of my notable encounters in game... they all end with a supportive note. Doesn't matter if it's a dogfight, a pirate encounter... the people involved simply play their parts... and enjoy it. Rather than tell me, "But Kyte... not all people behave that way, but but..." I will simply say this... I chose to have a say in how my experience will be in game. I am not a victim... I may get victimized, but I have something to say about what I involve myself with. So regardless of how the other pilot may be behaving, I can choose to let it affect me, or simply carry on.
Thankfully the negative experiences have been few and far between. We have a good place here. So enjoy the battles... and the rp. Just remember that we all bring something to the table when we play here. Have you ever considered what you bring? *dimples a smile*
It's awesome to get into a major scrap, fight your tail off, and yes even get blown up. Emotions can run high at the BOOM point... it's also awesome when the guy who just waxed you sends you a quick "good fight"
