This was more to do with base docking really after someone brought it up ingame, so am i right to think that it is imposable to dock kill when a player is docking at a base/planet?
' Wrote:That sounds like a possibility... Considering there is also a flaw with F1 while in jump sequence launching you 20k+ beyond the jumpgate in the new system... I think both of these need addressing.
Its not 20k+ distance. Its a random spot. Its always the same spot per system, but every system has a spot different from the others. Want proof, I could give you the name of a JH to use it on and you'll end up 65km away and off the map.

Its likely the same coding as the jump-gate, so not sure, my guess would be that they could die just the same if given enough time in the widescreen effect.
For simplicity, my thinking is as long as they have the shield indicator they're fair game, but once that disappears then they're widescreen and you should stop shooting. (This of course assumes that the widescreen effect occurs at the same time as the shield indicator removal, if that's not the case then I'm not quite sure at what point you should call off an attack:unsure:).
Shield stays up for the Jump Gate usage, unlike the Docking ring one. I'd say time you call off attack would be when they are actually ENTERING the middle of the JG where they would jump. Then if you see them stop moving and nothing else is entering the gate, that would indicate they are stuck. The polite thing to do would allow them to F1 back in, then drop their shield to where it was before, and continue again.
