I've a situation where I can log into an account on my computer up stairs with no problem whatsoever.
I go to log into that same account on my computer downstairs, and the game goes back to the server load screen.
Note that this is only one of 8 different accounts that I have.
Anyone else ever run into that situation? I've checked the account code and signature files - they're the same. (Also exported and imported them again just to make sure.)
Computer upstairs is a laptop running Vista, downstairs is a desktop running 7. Note that I can freely log into any of the rest of my accounts from either computer.

Do you use an account manager or manual registry keys? If it's the former, edit and copy the actual string (not export and import) and signature to a flash drive or a google document and paste it into your manager on your downstairs computer.
For now, count the characters and make sure there are exactly four sets of eight hexidecimals with a hyphen between them.
I'm working on a cloud based account manager, but until then do that.
I know you're probably not doing this, but I have to ask.
You're logging out of the account on the PC upstairs before you try to log into it down stairs, right?
Can we get a character name also? You may be getting kicked from the server by the anticheat. Would also help an admin look into it for you should they stumble into the thread in their drunken stupor.
Attempting to login with an invalid key will simply fail to connect you to the server with no message. Anticheat and account in use kicks give messages.
Your computer downstairs got auto-banned by the anti-cheat probably. It not only depends on the accoutn or IP, but also on the computer.
That or your installation on the downstairs computer is corrupted somehow, but it only matters if you load a certain ship. A re-install will probably help.

That was the solution.
Here's the two middle groups of the signature as FAM imported it from upstairs:
ae89997667718af1
Here's what the middle two groups SHOULD have read.
ae899976-67718af1
FAM upstairs exported the ADF file without the middle dash. It's one of those things that simply looking at the account, I couldn't figure out what was going on.
