And how do you exactly know what is he writing in his report messages, mmm? Or you dream about that? Or maybe you have some kind of sixth sense and you can read those reports yourself? At least do me a favor and shut up and stop expressing your opinion about other's reports. The admins are more than capable of dealing with them, there is no need of your "divine" intervention, to set things right. I hope you will take that into consideration, or will ya?
About RP pirating in general : Me being A part time trader.
I for one- love RP if some pirates would show a little Respect to ppl (ie) traders.
Remember, some could still be learning RP & noobs, This is RP life, if u want to keep server active,
deal with it & try to help newer ppl, yes some don't want to pay at all, so kill'em
I hate to get pirated BUT, if treated right I will pay every time. I will stop if hailed, BUT if I'm just fired on, I will just fight & run. Don't keep blasting my butt off if im slowing to do the deed & (even after I'm stopped)! Tell me the amount (within Reason) I will either agree Or try to bargain with you. If we agree Great! if not I will fight & probly die. I want to do the pirate & trade role play! But some pirates get cocky as H***- then you can Forget getting anything from me. I will rant & rave with you to the end!
If pirate's in RP role use (honey instead of sledge hammer) they might get what they want & the trader will be less likely to run & get angry.:nono:
I have been pirated three time this week alone, I payed twice, but the third pirate got nothing for being knuckle head. Be warned some traders work for other pirates & clan!

seem to have started a little debate here it seems, i think maxx there has the right idea though.
exactly what I do when i'm trading, either that or use the comm to see where people are and avoid em completely.

First of all, most traders dont pay if the pirate dont shoot first. I only shoot down the shields, without trying to inflict damage to the hull, before asking money. Second, my trader dont work for my pirates. I just invented that my pirates have their hackers, who invade the accounts of the small trading company for which my trader works. Its a small company, and as such it dont have the proper security in its computers.
My trader is usually a lawful guy, he only smuggled small arms for the red hessians a few times, in that route to Casablanca, and only when the SF was not around in New London, so he never got caught doing that. Anyone can pirate my trader, but I dont pay more than the value of my cargo, since if I get blow I respawn back to the base where I bought the goods, and from there I can escape to another route (or I simply can play with another character and dont bother myself about it). Even Phalanx members can pirate my trader, since my trader is not Phalanx tagged, and is completely unrelated to the faction.
Traders who trade for a faction have a faction tag in its name. For example, the Bs| have its own traders. Lancer-X had a Bs| trader, he changed the name and removed the tag, to be able to trade in Liberty space. The SA cant attack it, but the corsairs can, and without having problems with the Bs| or the Order later, at least theoretically. If you want to use your faction to protect a untagged, unrelated trader, then you lose the point about what real roleplay is. If you dont want allied pirates to attack a specific trader, inform these pirates what traders they are and how they are working undercover for your organization, dont go playing in a obscure manner. I like things clear. Before the Phalanx was created, the Perseus was attacked by a IND battleship, without any provocation, during a engagement against the KNF in Kyushu. Later I read that the IND are allied with the GoR, so why they attacked a outcast ship? Fact is that you guys, have a very different idea from me of what roleplay is. For me, you just want to turn the server into a small playground for some invite-only factions, with some noobs throwed in the middle for increasing the player number. So, yes, we cant get along anymore. Im just terminating the Phalanx and I will finish the remaining stories. Discovery is now a closed chapter for me. Im sure that nobody will miss me, since, like I said, my idea of what roleplay is differs a lot of what roleplay is for most of the people here.
starting to feel the smae tbh f wolf. got the ships I want, got the chars but with the server being taken over by a small number of large clan factions who won't let you RP as you should then there is not a lot of point to it reallyis there?
