Background changed - do the letters style is ok??

In my Opinion you should change the Font. Try something more normal. Then the Character, instead of cutting his Body, you could just place him on the lower Border of the Shape and let the Head stick out of the Top. Here an Example.

Then, the first Image got a big blank white Part, which never looks good. It's empty and boring. You could also try some Stuff with the Text, like an outer or inner Glow. Or copy the Text, use a Gaussian Blur and you'll receive a cool looking glow.
