When I'm re-installing Freelancer after awhile... new kind of inspiration hits me sometimes. That gloomy/spaceish music in the background while photos of planets/homeworlds rotate, and all that during that short installation process, really brings back memories. Perhaps I should leave this music turned on this time when I enter the game.
I just saw a description of Cadiz before making this thread when a thought hit me; "Hm. I never tried being a Corsair... Some kind of Vampire who woke up after 5000 years, who sucks humans' heads in dire need of blood... In a gunboat."
Oh, installation is over. See ya in 10 mins or so unless my account files are corrupted or something.
I must admit the Sair gunships do resemble a bit of a coffin. Both in their gothicy looks and their tendency to blow up...
You can extract the soundfiles too, and play em while doing other stuff.
Wide awake in a world that sleeps, enduring thoughts, enduring scenes. The knowledge of what is yet to come.
From a time when all seems lost, from a dead man to a world, without restraint, unafraid and free.

the music is kinda relaxing, and forces me to sleep, that's why i always have winamp in the background. not saying it's bad or anything, just gets me in a sleepy mood.
