Enough is Enough,

Every now and again I play Freelancer in windowed mode, the only problem is, that the brightness goes seriously dark. I thought I could put up with it, but It's starting to annoy me, I've upped the 'Gamma' to full, but it still remains dark, in actual fact, I've got the same brightness settings on Full-screen as Windowed, and yet it still dark as.

It's that dark, that in places like Bretonia, all I see if Black.. seriously, and in the badlands.. my god.. you cant even see your ship..
So, any ideas ?

Ermm, dunno, I play in Windowed all the time. Everything looks normal to me...

I use a program though, D3DWindower.

If you play with part of your desktop showing, it could be an illusion caused by the difference in brightness between your desktop and FL.

The only solution I can think of is to not play FL in windowed mode.
