And back to this, as i typed it was really fun with so few bombers (i think 3) try to destroy these caps and i dont think we were bad,1 dread died,second was almost destroyed when i exploded, we loosed one dread,gb,and i think cruiser showed too.
And i was not asking about notifing us 2 hour before attack,just maybe few minutes so we can try to call people...

I think fighting in the Sigmas is logical, as this is were the main fight for territory started. Besides would be nice to fight Corsairs in a diffrent enviroment.

It would be very appropriate to to fight in the Sigmas. That's supposed to be normal. Doesn't happen...well...ever, but within vanilla it's supposed to.

And on that note, I will reiterate my old argument, the one that says you can check your chat screens (long-range sensors is the appropriate RP term) to see who is in what system. A long time ago (say two years, before the obnoxious FAIRPLAY (WAAAAA) craze took over) this is what everybody did. This should still be what everybody does because there is no sense in telling your enemy you're coming when, if they are smart, they will already know.

i would 100% agree with you - if you had shown what you ask others for in the past yourself. - but sadly, i do not see the corsair factions ( nor non-factionized players ) announce themselves before they appear in what you may call "a little fleet" to attack someone that they consider "a foe".


i m not sure if for example zoners were informed about sails appearing in delta... or if zoners were informed about a dread, an osiris, a cruiser and a fighter attacking fp9 recently ( well, pick one of the recent times when it happened ) <-- defending force was one light fighter ( tiger shark ) - and due to our ER channel - we deployed two dreadnoughts, cause we did find ppl to be online to react. the whole thing was no problem of course - but we weren t informed about it either... and it was not only "some misguided indies" - out of the four players - one battleship was a faction battleship.



that does NOT mean that others can play on a low level as those who gank - but if you re ganking yourself unannounced, you re hardly in the position to patronize others about it.

so, yes - invading in large numbers unannounced is wrong. ( but i do hope you take it in yourself, too )

what it all means is : you are an influencial corsair player yourself - and i haven t seen you say a single word when the corsairs appeared in numbers to attack recently. if you had at least shown your concern about corsair behaviour then - i d say "you have a point" - but since you only speak up - now that others do it to the corsairs - your words don t hold too much credibility.

- what other reason is there to list all the attacking ships - and the number of defenders?
did he say fair?
- yes - again ... why else list attackers and defenders - other than to show the imbalance - or even come to the public forum ( general discussion ) than to complain about this situation.
did he say it was fun?
- he did - yet he "mentions it" here to gather opposition and/or support for his case. - if it had been utter fun, he wouldn t come here - but record it as "a nice disco experience to be repeated any time, cause - it was fun"

people that write something like that on a general forum can do it in a neutral way - or they do it like this - list up attackers and defenders - even name tags - and plead for their case.



if he had just wanted to ask if its good or bad when players announce massive incusions - he would have / could have done so in an unrelated and neutral way. - and even then - it may have appeared a little fishy.


when a transport / trader comes to the forum saying "i really hate those pirates that attack me in a two gunboats and a bomber"

the general answer on that forum is "Q_Q some more - and get escorts newbie!" - and most of all "yea, so you got killed - whine me a river"
