Signature-First Try

Since my sig currently is uncool and boring, I decided to give this a shot. Now I've never made a signature before, but I have done other things, so I tried to incorporate some sort of wireframe into this.

Keep in mind that this is the first signature I've made, so don't troll me too hard.

The craft is well designed but the overall composition isn't so good. You have bits everywhere in the signature and the background is rather dull.

You can improve it by using a more interesting background and bringing the face down for a start.

Hm, the original was made in around 20 minutes, and I really didn't take much time searching for nice images to put in there. Most of my better stuff took around twelve hours worth of work total.

Give or take two hours' work and I came up with this:

We have this for showing artworks. No need for more threads.

But on topic, looks rather nice if that's your first sig, aside that the guy's head is cut off. That made me lol.

I suggest removing the emboss on the text, its cluttering.

A little bit of abstract effect never hurt anyone either. Doing something to the defender would help (Color dodge and some tech overlays? Look at what internity's got on his too.)

As a latter project, adjusting the signatures border would be beneficial.
