its a super heavy MINER, not as much fighter.
(unortunatly jinx's works has no images :| )
and about its style, you know i just ruled by a miners style (i planned to make something like that with basalt and dactie)

It looks fantastic as a miner and all, don't get me wrong, it's just not the same ship that I've pirated, hunted, mined, and explored with. The versatility is going to be lost. That's not to say this doesn't look like a first class mining ship, because it does.

I've seen the ol' Mafic used for everything from bounty hunting to, yes, pirating. I personally own five. Their versatility and their very name (maaaafick) is what I find endearing. The ability to mount a snac and a ton of debbies makes them perfect for de-shielding whatever graces your sights, and the placement of the torp slot provides for impeccable aim. And have you seen it's powercore? True, they can't use a CD if you have a SNAC on it, but with fighter support, this is a force to be reckoned with. The only thing it can't do well is dodge.
See, I know that you've the Mafic's best intentions at heart, and I thank you for it, but this isn't the swiss army knife that I've come to love above all others. It's a beautiful mining ship, but not my MAAAAAFICK!
If you ever see LR-Tasty.Treat about, come have a look, and you'll see how well it pirates. It's so named because it's a pleasure to fly.
to make windows not being affected by the ambient light ( or what you may call - illuminated ) - you need the UTF editor.
steps to take:
1 - upload the .mat file in the UTF editor
2 - search for the specific texture that is assigned to the windows ( usually you may have named it "windows" )
3 - add 3 nodes to the main node
3.1 - call them Ec, Et_flags and Et_name
4 - Ec is the level of permanent ambient light or whatever - you will need to add :

1.000000
1.000000
0.000000
RGB ( red, green, blue )
5 - Et_flags is something else - dunno what exactly, but you ll need to add the following values:
0.000000
0.000000
6 - Et_name is the specific identification of that skinfile. it should be unique! - if you apply values present on the server already, you may end up with mismatched mat/cmp files - so - use a high and random number that is most unlikely to already exist. - like:

7 - you re done now .... your windows will now be illuminated. if you have several illuminated parts - you need to do it for each part
ok, windows are working (but ill update mat file with _selfillum texture)

now the last problem is hitbox...
i made it , put it, but i think i missed name of group or something like that , so now it does not work at all...just need some time to fix it and then ill make hardpoints and correct code for shiparch.
