Greetings, Guildmasters.
As you know, it has been some time since we had a lengthy conversation. No doubt the furore in the Tau Sector and the territorial disputes in the Omegas has been keeping you very busy, and I offer my sympathies. Coordinating such expansive mining operations is no small feat.
Now, permit me to get straight to business. Over the last few months, resource depletion and the invasion of Gallia has led to wild shifts in the Sirius Stock Market. However, the consumption of raw materials has not abated, even as we attempt to develop more efficient production processes.
To this end, I feel it would be advantageous to both of our businesses if we were to come to an agreement on the prices of unrefined Ores which Ageira transports would purchase at, or in proximity to, the IMG's mining sites. Naturally, we are interested in all the metals that the Guild has to offer.
I await your reply.
Signed,
Thaddeus Gideon President
Ageira Technologies

Greetings Mr Gideon, it's always a pleasure to hearing from you.
I would like to inform you that your message is received and the Independent Miners' Guild is more than happy to supply your transports with unrefined ore. Our logistics department is currently processing the request since we have to take into account many external parameters.
We would be interested in knowing if your ships are permitted to enter the Tau sectors because as you probably know IMG mostly bases in these sectors. Thank you again Mr Gideon.

Irene Thompson;
We are aware both that the IMG is heavily based in the Tau sector, and the difficulties of reaching said systems in the current political climate. Suffice to say, our transports will likely travel via Kusari to reach your bases. Heading into the Taus from Bretonia is awfully dangerous at the moment, and the GRN are certainly no friends of ours.

Konnichiwa Mr Gideon,
My name is Guild Master Takeshi Ogawa. Out logistics department recently completed and sent its analysis regarding viable agreements and contracts with other factions & corporations.
As you probably know, the Independent Miners Guild maintains large mining operations in the Tau region, Bretonia and in the Omegas.
The prices we can offer for each unit of ore range between the 40% - 60% of the highest price that they can be sold in a lawful market (Gallic and Rheinland market are obviously excluded). The factors which influence the price to be at 40% or higher until 60% are:
1) the difficulties for an Ageira| transport to come to the region decrease the prices up to 10%
2) the drops in the fields at that moment increase the prices up to 10%
Furthermore, IMG can offer ore which is stored in our Barges in the standard 55% price. This is slightly more expensive than from obtaining ore directly from a mining operation because of the absence of danger while loading with ore in the open field and also because this process is much less time-consuming.
Moreover, we are aware that Ageira| cannot haul ore in Rheinland space, including Omega-7, however if you are interested in the ore types of the Omega-7 (Silver, Cobalt, Copper) we can arrange something. Cobalt Ore can also be obtained from Omega-3, therefore it does not have a 10% price reduction but a 5%
The following table takes into account regarding the field price only the first factor, however it doesn't consider the second factor which could increase the prices up to 10% should the drops be considerably low.
Code:
N. | Ore Type | Percentage | Field Price | Barge Price
I've been monitoring the ongoing negotiations with Ageira. I wager, given their business needs, they are primarily interested in Cobalt and Niobium for their Superconductor production facility over at Pueblo. Cobalt does not need to come from Omega 7 however, that comet down in Omega 3 is loaded with chunks of it. This deal might be a nice opportunity to tap into that one. It's an option I wanted you to be aware of.
I'll leave the negotiations in your hands. Good luck!
Regards,
- John Sanders

It seems I was ill-informed then. I do not wish to find excuses for my mistake, but I am still expecting the report from the R&D Department about the O-3 expedition. Thank you for letting me know, First Guild Master.

Because of a mistake I didn't include the option of obtaining Cobalt Ore from Omega-3. My previous transmission has been updated along with the price.

Guildmaster Takeshi Ogawa;
We are most interested in acquiring Niobium and Cobalt ores from your organisation. Silver and Copper ores are in certain demand in Liberty, too, but less so for internal productions. Our current Gold stockpiles are sufficient, so are the lowest priority, and we already have a consistent supply of Beryllium.
With that said, the directors and I find your proposed prices most agreeable. It would be helpful for our Transport pilots if you could outline the best locations for them to rendezvous with your mining vessels in order to expediate business.

President Thaddeus Gideon;
I think the best way to meet with IMG| ships, would be by contacting them on spot and arranging a rendezvous point. However the mining locations are precise so you will need to travel to Tau-23 or Tau-37 for Niobium and Omega-3 for Cobalt. Our Barge which is filled with Niobium Ore is located in Tau-39 therefore it'd be advisable before you enter the system to have listed the IMG Guard as neutral in your sensors.
Finally, I'd like to thank you Mr Gideon for this business opportunity and I am looking forward for a stronger co-operation between our organisations in the future.

Konnichiwa Mr Gideon,
I am coming here with a very important proposal from the Board of the Guild Masters. It is apparent that several innovations and developments have recently taken place mostly in base building but also in other technologies as well.
The Independent Miners Guild is an organisation which embraces the new and tries to adapt in the current needs. For that reason we believe it is vital to co-operate with your corporation much closer, opening a new era in our histories.
Ageira Technologies is well-known in Sirius for their expertize on Jump drive technology, while the Independent Miners Guild is a leader on base construction and our R&D division has researched for several decades scanning and deep space navigation technologies. As the need to adapt to this new era becomes more and more crucial, the IMG would like to propose to Ageira Technologies the construction of a research station which will be also a factory that produces high-end technology for the purpose of selling it to Sirius.
Mr Gideon, I am eagerly expecting your reply to my proposal. Thank you.
