Where is this tune from?

I found this tune in one RPG game (It's Czech and it's called Broken Hearts, done in RPGMaker)

I e-mailed the author but he had no idea where he took it from. It sounds to me like it's from a Squaresoft game (though I can't be sure), but the author says it's probably from some anime...

Does anybody have an idea where the tune can be from?
