Ok, NO F1 OUTTA TRADER FOR ANOTHER SHIP. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Now, Enough people. To get money, you have to WORK for it. And that WORK involves DISCOVERING your OWN trade runs. Comprende?
It took me about 5 months in SP, then 3 more months in MP to find a decent LEGAL trade run, and now I'm facing the fact that Igiss now has to re-scramble the trade routes so people dont just go and make lots o cash for Battleships. All honest Traders now face this.
So stop spillin the trade routes that make good cash. the passenger one is a good one for new traders, and offers good profit. Thats all new guys need.

I already have a job so I'll just enjoy playing games as I see fit, thanks.
I like trading, but I don't see much point in making people "pay them dues!" when they might be good roleplayers and community members who are simply turned off by the grinding for cash. I could have a BS in a couple weeks of effort running my relatively impoverished trade circle; is it really a problem if another player finds a way to do it in 2 days? I can't see that it makes a difference.

No it is absolutely not legal. You will be fined 900 million credits for doing it. There was a very long, heated arguement about this last week. As you can see in the following thread it is in fact not legal to switch from a trader to any other character to take on a pirate no matter what the circumstance may be
