Currently on my bushido character I'm using the Raven's Talon.
I would like to change ship but I don't know a good one to fit with RP.
I know two for sure, The Eagle and the Sabre. From what I heard they both get killed from a Cannonball in one shot. So I was thinking if there were any other strong ship I can use as a GC faction?
Well the raven claw is a good intercept ship but its LSF that built it and hogsha that designed it so its not good RP in fact its worse .
also eagle dies in 1 cannonball shot??? never happened to me it does good damage to it but doesn't kill it in one. in fact theres only 1 weapon that can kill a fighters hull in 1 and thats the Nova or possibly the mini razor(unsure on that one)

Hmm really cannon ball that good *memo to self* buy cannon ball on all fighters*end memo*
But still the claw is LSF and hogsha built which is not very good for a BD or GC as they are hostile.

To be honest, the weakness of ships shouldn't really be a factor in your choice. For example, all the TBH have a Titan as their main fighter. At the moment, I believe this is unfair, but we have only one ship. And it is enough.
If I had my way, all factions would only use their ships and I would be done with it, but thats the reason why I dont have it my way:mellow:.
If I were you, I'd get an Eagle. (In my opinion, the RTalon is so OP, but there has already been a big thing about this and I am anti Outcast anyway...). It has worse hull, and multiple hitboxes, but it isn't built to withstand punishing firepower. It is built so the pilot can not get hit, while hitting his oponent. In slogging matches of jousting, you may well lose alot, but its really for fighter pilots who fly slightly defensive.

Both the Eagle and the Sabre are good ships. Try the Sabre if you like your strafe keys alot, its good for that.
Cannonballs kill all vanilla fighters, except maybe the Titan and Templar in one hit if your hit by the missile on the nose. This way, it gets all your hitboxes. Most of the time, the missile is too slow to do this, and hits your wing, and only hits one or two hitboxes. Its all to do with placement.
There's me being biased as usual. I can't help myself.
I do agree with your stance, although with the R-Talon about there is no fighter able to beat it. Although I am proud of the fact that HF has been using it long before it became uber. It had less armor and less power core than it does now. But yes the R-Talon is over powered by a lot and it does need some kind of a nerf.
However, the Blood Dragon is a good fighter, just don't use sunslayers, the Eagle is also very good, and I do love the Sabre although I've yet to re-make mine....
I will try using the Blood Dragon , altough the eagle is very good. I liked it. But it makes me harder to hit with the mini razor for some strange reason. And because of that it dosent suit my fighting style.
