Warning: This is a rant and this is Q_Q, do not read if you don't like it.
Alright, fighting a single Outcast bomber with 3 Nyx fighters is one thing.
Shieldrunning from a bomber is also quite understandable, yet kind of a buzzkill, especially in a 3v1.
However, if you actually run and go all evade, just because I targeted you and put a few dents into your shield, so that your 2 comrades can attack me easily, that's just miserable.

I know, there is nothing I can do, it is not against the rules and "you fight to win" (that's a quote from one of your members). It's just an information, for you and maybe for others.

Consider yourself lucky to be still alive. Good day sir.

This scenario was unfortunate.
3v1 is indeed too much.
The bomber clearly had no chance in winning the battle.

However I do understand that a gunboat was already on the way at the time and it was the bomber itself that intiated the battle by ignoring the CR vessels and continuing to shoot a miner.

All in all:
The bomber brought the attack upon itself and most probably ought to have considered the possibility of imminent death before carrying on.
However the response by the CR vessels was not proportionate and as such I apologise for the incident.

I would ask that you recipricate the spirit of my message and also consider promoting fairer fights in the future.

Actually, I did not fire one shot at the miner, I "just" ignored their orders of leaving.
But I agree, I was the one who provoked the fight. Still, 3vs1 and running when being targeted is really unnecessary.

As the 'other' concerned Gallic citizen present, I can confirm that the Outcast did not fire a shot at the mining ship (the Outcast demanded 2 million, the miner offered ore which the Outcast refused), and in short order 3 CR fighters were inbound. While I did not see much of the fight, I do agree 3 fighters versus one bomber is ridiculous.

My opinion: You take fighting too seriously.

Miner dificulty happens, espcially within 23. And you got to know, outcast does not have any legistlation how not too ''gank'' ...well pretty much anyone within that system . And when we talk about yersteday, my superiors asked me to take only 2 fighters next time.

Ignoring orders of someone who might shoot you if you dont do what they say is never a good thing, except you want them to shoot you ;)As Ian already mentioned, an overuse of manpower like this shouldnt happen again.
But regarding the running when being targeted, it might be annoying, but its a valid tactic. You shouldnt expect people running straight into your guns if they have other ways of fighting you, other ways that may leave them undamaged while they can do a lot of damage to their enemy.

It would also be nice to have helpful, constructive feedback here, which shows mistakes as well as good things. (Hi Dutch :crazy:)

Engagement happened because you attacked a Ptrans of the Outcast...my friend and I tried to defend it.
It started with 2 fighters vs. 2 fighters. Allied caps of you on standby, very good.
Another one of you came, 3v2, fine.

But refilling at Carrier while being in a 3v2...Goddamn.
