So the board rules state the max width/height of your avatar/sig, but I was planning on trying something animated since I've seen other members doing so. Is there a file size limit to be followed for this?
So I tried doing a very simple GIF (just 5 frames). I took some FRAPS footage ingame, then used SUPER to break down the AVI into BMPs. Then I edited the BMPs in paint to cut them down in size. Now I'm trying to use SUPER to compile the shrunken frames into a .GIF, and it isn't working. SUPER just freezes up when it tries to encode the 5 files.
From what I've been able to find, the problem might be that the images use the wrong color palate? I tried saving them as .GIFs, but that didn't seem to matter. SUPER doesn't have anything of a user guide, can someone point out where I'm going wrong?
