*Jonah seems to give away little or no interest in Sequoia approaching.Instead,he seems to be fiddling with a small round length of wood and an ice pick of imposing size. Finally,he snaps out of it.*
"Oh,'ello,girl.Didn't notice ya.Sit down,'ave a drink.I'm buyin'."
*He then turns back to the wood, but still, interrupts his work to turn to her again*
"Oh ya,this be a present fah' Druce, but don't tell 'im."
*He chuckles warmly and turns his attention to the wood once more.*

Sequoia noticed Druce incoming, but just nod to him with remarkably serious face and passed by to Jonah's place.
"Don't try to look like you see me for the first time ever", - She smiled satirically and took a sit right in front of him, - "You wanted to talk, I'm ready to make the evening more entertaining. What's wrong?" Sequoia made her famous cute face and poked him at nose. "Hello-o-o."
*Jonah looked sideways at Sequoia, apparently admiring the sheer cuteness of her facial expression. Then he spoke.
"Well, dere be a problem I havin'.Ya see, dere be somthin' about me dat I ain't comfortable sharin' wit' da rest o' da populace 'ere.I thought ya might undahstand since you're...well, you.But I ain't tellin' ya a WORD unless yah swear ya ain't tellin noone else."
He glared at her intently.*

Sequoia drawn herself closer to Jonah with a sly smile on her face, bended forward to his ear, close enough for him to feel her breath and whispered - "I will be silent as the grave." Then she sit straight with a serious look and gestured to bartender to get another drink.
*Jonah, obviously surprised by her actions, lets out a heavy sigh of relief.
"Anyway.Mah secret...It be a little bit...disturbin'.
He reaches out and touches Sequoia's hand, and at that given moment, his eyes shift colour to a warm brown. After a few moments,a small patch of moss grows on Sequoia's sleeve. After uttering a few unintelligible words, the moss vanishes, and his eyes revert back to the vibrant green everyone's known to love.He then looks firmly at Sequoia, and grins.*

Sequoia started obviously of sudden and unusual miracle happening in front of here, more exactly on her sleeve. She was used to many things, she even saw pink rooms with pink humans doing pink stuff once after the last Banger Grims not so successful project beta test, but out of those funny cases she was more or less a girl with tendency to physics, not metaphysics. So she was confused, she was surprised, slightly shocked and had no idea how should she react on that - to become panik-stricken or to bloviate about that trying to hide the confusion. Finally she only constranied hersrelf to say a single world - "How?"
*Jonah hesitated for a moment. He was thinking of an answer.
"Ya gonna come wit' me,girl. One o' dese days.Me gonna show ya da Mother.Me gonna show ya...were miracles be born."
After letting out a soft chuckle,he looked at her and asked:
"How ya tink' me got my real eye back,eh?"
He turned from her,and set his gaze towards the ceiling.
"Da heaven...da heaven be da limit fah' da Mother, an' what gifts she can give ta' humanity...So whatcha say, girl? Ya willin' ta' trust me on dis one?"
Once again,he locked his jasper eyes on her firmly.*

Hikari looks slightly dazed for a while, as if she had just woken up from a deep sleep, and looks around the room. W...what just happened? Did I just black out? Where did Sequoia-san go, Will-san?
She looks deeply confused and goes quiet. She looks down without saying a word and sits as still as if she were a puppet.
She looks up again, a cold look on her face, as if she had just seen something that hurt her deeply. She gets up and walks out the room to her sleeping quarters.
"I..." - Sequoia who still hadn't came to herself was staring at Jonah uninterruptedly and weighting all the pros and cons of believing him and believing in what she saw just a second ago. Sequoia, cute little Sequoia, you never was a Gaian in the same way as others, you never had any sacral feelings to Gaia except loving it for the beautiful mountains, forests noisy of all the birds and animals and leafs rustling underfoot and overhead. Sequoia, clever little Sequoia who was a common sense advocate and the upholder of stern logic of being, struggling for what she understood against what she understood. "...will trust you".
