So embarrassing. :(
Its always soo funny when that happens. I usually see it coming
I must say thank you very much for pointing out the red and green lights on the trade lanes it saves me alot of trade lane docking failures.
I spend hours, days, weeks to find out the sercret entrance in the minefield from Omicron-80 to Lorainne. I just couldn't find it on my own I was so tired of it that I asked an Admin where the entrance was and he showed me. Thank god!
It also took me a while to find out you can dodge npc's by using engine kill flying backwards away from the npc's. Even when someone told me you could do that it took me ages to figure out. Finally the ship repair shop has some free time instead of glueing my ship back together all the time.

Quote:This has happened to me once in my Shire while trying to get out of Dublin. I didn't dock at the right angle and got stuck, took too long reversing my way out, and then thing clamped down and chomped me to bits.
First time I bought a BS, was a Redemption. It's a very long battleship, and my previous experience included snubs only. I somehow managed to get stuck in the docking sequence of a jumphole. I basically went for a speed dock, but was too far, so the jumphole was right in the middle of the BS. I was stuck turning in circles around the hole.
Funny thing, happened twice. First time I had to F1, second time there was another Redemption with me and it pushed me out:D

Okay, as for everything else in this thread, I already knew it. But that I did not know. Seriously? I never spend much time in that system, so I guess it's not something I would have thoroughly explored.
