On the third traderun with the Rubihorn route and commodity are again "Ageira/DSE #7".
Nothing to report for this run, except that there was an ongoing assault from Kusari forces in Leeds. LD14 was neverless reached safely, we took the precaution to move out of scanner-range from idle Kusari warships.
There was encrypted chatter from a heavy and a light vessel in Cortez, of which one was in scanner range upon jumping in from Manchester. Evasive routine "EUnpsC" along with a yellow alert was used as a precaution to piracy; the encountered group proved to be a trade-group with mercenary escort later though.
The Rubihorn is now stationed at Pittsburgh until further notice.

Sad news is what this report is about today. It was the fourth trade run of the Rubihorn on which a hold full of Boron was successfully delivered to LD14.
On the way back, and still in Leeds, the notorious pirate "Phate" came shortly into scanner-range as the Rubihorn had just entered the lane towards New London.
The Rubihorn instantly made a Lane-Flip-Maneuvre and was derouted towards the dangerous Magellan-Jumphole.
This and the following decision was based on my personal experience as a former Freelancer and I take full responsibility for it.
The jump to Magellan was made successfully but the Rubihorn ended right in between a Tridente-Gunboat and an escorting fighter-class. The fighter was in the process of jumping to Leeds, so I decided to try and outrun the Gunboat, which at first succeeded in a way: The first two cruise-attempts brought the Rubihorn within 16k of Freeport 4.
In the meantime the fighter had jumped back to Magellan and gave fire-support to the Gunboat.
The Rubihorn was blown apart in weapon range of Freeport 4. Luckily I had ordered the crew into the escape-pods when all regenerators were deployed. The Rubihorn served as our decoy to draw the pirate's attention away from the pods for her last 1000 meters.
It was hard for everyone to see such a brandnew and shiny ship been blown up out of an escape-pod.
We were taken aboard Freeport 4 safely and are waiting for a shuttle to headquarters. None of the crew is injured, but the loss of ship and cargo weights gravely.

The new Rubihorn had her first run today. We shipped stuff from Erie to Cambridge and luxury foods back to Detroit. There were no incidents on that trip.
Oh, wait there was a bomber in Cortez trying to pirate the Rubihorn. Here's the log, it's pretty self-explaining:
a bomber at the lane in Cortez

[28.01.2011 19:37:03] John.C.Stennis: you dont controll the regen of shield
[28.01.2011 19:37:08] John.C.Stennis: so dont try to talk about skills
[28.01.2011 19:37:13] Ageira|Rubihorn: sure I do
bomber tries to flee, is CDed a few times and eventually allowed to run
Hey guys, Nicholas here, I know I vanished for a while and you guys were probably wondering what happened. Well, I got captured by the Lane Hackers, before you even ask, no, I don't want to talk about it, just know that I have seen things that most people haven't, and have experienced things to horrid to imagine.
So how did I get here to Freeport 4 you ask? Well, it wasn't easy, I was being prepared to be transported back from Mactan to some place where they conducted their foul acts, Ravager or something I think it was... This is where they tortured me as well as several others, and killed us when they had all the fun they could have with us. Luckily, the guy who was securing my bonds and blindfolding me had sniffed a tad too much cardi it seems. While he was redoing the bonds holding my hands, the station came under attack, and the two armed personnel guarding me had to be called away to their fighters to defend the station. When he had untied my hands, I quickly grabbed his gun, incapacitated him, and stole a Dagger in the confusion of the attack. I managed to slip out from under their noses and am now here on Freeport 4. I am about to leave to Los Angeles with a few IMG escorts for safety, we can discuss this more face to face if I must when we meet.

The Maiden Voyage of the "Ageira|Black.Butte" couldn't have went any better! I ran the secondary route listed in the "Welcome to Ageira" form I received in my new employees packet. The ship that Ageira provided me did not have a problem with all NPCs I encountered along the way.
While reading through messages today I discovered the House Corporation Trade Circuits link and plan on running those in the near future.

Well, my first venture outside of the "secondary route" listed on the "Welcome to Ageira Technologies" pdf almost ended in disaster. I had a rogue pilot callsign [|]Yuki.Ayaka approach me within Kyushu and say I was not able to deliver Gate/Lane parts to Tau 31 Gate Construction Site in Tau 23 because "they are at war with Bretonia." After his spiel, he was wanting me to drop my Gate/Lane parts. Knowing that this was against Ageira policy, I told him "since Ageira would like to avoid all unnecessary confrontation, I was hoping it would be best just to return to where I came from". The rogue pilot agreed and said "if I see you helping Bretonia again I won't be so [kind]" I apologized for the inconvenience, and wished him a good day. Turned around, and rerouted.
Which brings me to verification of alternate trade routes. I was sent this link from an employee (which is not to be named) within Ageira. I would like to verify the authenticity of these routes to avoid future problems;
That document is valid; however, some routes require additional planning first in order to avoid zones of conflict. If that is not possible, care should be taken to avoid aggravating any parties involved in such a conflict. If you require further advice, feel free to contact your fellow employees or direct supervisors.

Hey all,
I was reading through the news, waiting out the latest pirate raids of the Liberty system at Pueblo, and found some good PR for Ageira. Read an article on how Ageira's efforts in shipping Gate/Lane parts are helping the current and future growth of Sirius. Featured a pilot in the photo, don't recognize the guy. Good to see something good amongst all the headache we had last week with Bretonia;

Ageira's Efforts Keep Sirius on the Move

NEW YORK - What would Sirius be like without Jump Gates and Trade Lanes? Ageira Technologies is one company who will ensure that we will never know. Shown above, an Ageira pilot is hard at work at a Planet New York dock area loading Gate/Lane parts to another Ageira ship. "We have to be careful how much we... (more+)

Mark Newman, reporting in.
I am back from, well, Thaddeus, you have the reports on your desk, that is all that needs to be said here.
The Ageira|Milos has re-entered charted Space, and is enroute to the Taus to get some replacement parts for it's irradiated hull. The Ageira|Gerlach is being prepared for a re-launch. It's been mothballed for a year now.
I would like to request a position in R&D, considering my previous... mission, I feel it would be appropriate.
Good day,
Mark Newman
