Hey there. I've got a question about Pirate ID.
Here you have description of it: http://discoveryfl.com/wiki/index.php?title=Pirate_ID
And my question is: can I fullfill unlawfull bounty contracts when I'm using this ID with Freelancer IFF?
There is no info about that in descritpion so you know I want to be sure before I start doing this:P

Theres been arguments/discussions about this in the rules forum, (where this should really be posted) and the general consensus is... not really.

To expand, you cant (really) use the fact that someone has a bounty on them as a reason to kill them, but if you do happen to kill a bountied person, feel free to ask whoever bountied them to reward you. They're not obligated to do so though.

Don't mean to hijack thread, but seeing as how ur question was answered.

Can a pirate demand pirate pilots in a persons hold?

I've had pirates do it to me, and have done it myself. I assumed pilots were considered cargo, but is that right?

Are crew and cargo considered the same thing?

If it is in the cargo hold, you can demand it.

If it isn't bolted to the ship, you can demand it.

That means, bats, bots, ammo, unmounted weapons, cargo. All fair game.

I see. Thanks for the fast reply.

That's what I thought, but was recently questioned if it was legal to demand "crew", and honestly, I didn't know if I was in the wrong.

Glad to hear I was not.

You can demand anything, but even if you kill it you can't post in a bounty thread. Since you can not collect bounties.

Enjoy

""■Can ally with unlawfuls, mercenaries, and freelancers ""

You can assist in the collection of an unlawful bounty an spilt the loot with the unlawful claimer/ merc.

So you CAN, With strings.

You can't claim a bounty but you can help with claiming a bounty.
