The Karume have always had good relations with Samura. But the family company is growing bigger than expected. We have become a profitable group that wants to contribute. Our request is to be admitted into Samura Heavy Industries. To all parts of the Samura divisions.

What exactly happened is still unknown. Scientists called it a 'wormhole anomaly'. After trying a new wormhole we ended up in Bretonian space. The war with Bretonia meant we had to fly under the radar. So I ordered all lights to be shut off, and weapons power to be added to the engine. My engineers told me later, that the engines ran much more efficient with this extra power, and they wanted to experiment on a new engine design. But that's not for this report. We found ourselves in hostile territory and had to get out. The decision was made to try the Newcastle Jump gate, at that moment unguarded. It proved to be a dead end, but not without its profit. We found a station there that would let us dock, regardless of the war hostilities. And on our way back we saw a City unlike others. It was build on a asteroid the size of Shinjuku station. And scans indicated it had heavy shielding and was not human design. This Intel had to reach Kusari. So we sneaked our way out, and realized we had to go through the New London system if we were to reach the Liberty systems. There we could claim relative safety.

I have recently become the captain of the Hayabusa Maru, a Ryuujin-class train, through the tragic passing of my long time Pilot Master and tomodachi, Takuya, due to over-consumption of uncooked fish. We have been flying short-distance transporting routes for a smaller division of Samura. My manager gave us simple routes that stayed within Kusari space. Mostly shuttling crews and commuters from bases to planets and back. While this was honest work, I have grown tired of the monotony of this life inside Kusari and would like to travel to other systems and houses. I want to see the rest of the sector to discover more about Sirius. Samura Heavy Industries had a CM on the Holotainment Band that advertised openings for experienced transport pilots, so here I am. I have also heard on the Colony News Service of the Samura Heavy Industries acquiring a big contract for diamond shipments with some of the Rhinelandjin. All of these things appeal to me so I would like to apply to the Heavy Industries division of Samura.

Good day, I hope this letter finds you in good health.
Life's not bad. I've got credits and a love who's willing to put up with me. While I'm not worried about the girl, I realize the credits won't be around forever, so as anyone does, I'd like to see if I could fit in your company for something more steady. My work experience is diverse and I'm sure I have at least one valuable trait. Right now, though, I'm in between transport jobs so I've picked up a little work on the side. Idle hands make for a dull life.
Samura is a noble company and has brought the great House of Kusari much honor. I'd like to be a part of that. Best case, all I'm looking for is an opportunity to show you what I can do with a transport, and do so on my own dime. Worst case, well, I suppose I'll hear back from you at least once.
