Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen.
My name is Jack Henderson, I'm the IMG Dublin Operation Coordinator.
I'm writing to you because of the sad incidents that caused fighting between IMG and BAF. I feel sorry for what happened and I'm disappointed that I was not present to calm down heated tempers.
Up to now our relationship has been fine, sometimes tense, but never violent, I'd say. And I like it to stay that way, after yesterday's chaos seems to be sorted.
There are two points that need to be adressed.
Justice must be done on Mr. Adam.Patterson the person who escalated yesterday's (mostly harmless and non-violent) incidents into an armed conflict between IMG and BAF/BMM.
I accuse this man of the following crimes:
Attacking civilians (Allan Moore, Alice Etherington, Danny Sutherland) with the intention to cause harm or death.
Threatening civilians with attacks on his public neuralnet blog.
Damaging property of IMG by attacking and destroying 3 vessels.
Deliberately disrupting the existing peace and the stable relations between IMG, BMM and BAF.
Being responsible for the violent escalation right up to the brink of war between IMG and BAF.
To sum it up: Mr. Patterson acts like a terrorist or political agent provocateur and is a danger to the stability and peace in Dublin.
2. A transcript of an audio recording of the seconds before the first attack took place which reveals the blood lust. Mind the time stamps: 7 seconds before the completely surpirsed IMG pilot was taken out.
[12.02.2011 16:15:12] Adam.Patterson: You IMG think this is your ground to stand on!?
[12.02.2011 16:15:14] IMG|Ian.Desari[D]: yea, the lawl make ravage lately here
[12.02.2011 16:15:34] BAF|Capt.John.Clay: You'd better. If you really assaulted BMM, you will be in a deep problem.
[12.02.2011 16:15:36] Adam.Patterson: En garde, you bloodythirty pirates!
[12.02.2011 16:15:43] Death: IMG|Allan.Moore was put out of action by Adam.Patterson (Gun).
3. Visual evidence proving the wanton lust for violence and blood that is a danger for peace and stability in Dublin.
The IMG sees a danger to its existence in this person. Obviously this individual wants to harm civilians and is prepared to go to "war" against IMG. He is able to draw BAF officers into it (as happened yesterday with. Mr. Clay) and he managed to get BAF/BMM and IMG on the edge of a war. He did that because of an unscrupulous political agenda.
The IMG department for Dublin wants no further violence in Dublin, so we trust in the judgement of the Courts of Bretonia to protect its people and the companies working within from harm. This person, Mr. Patterson, is a harmful person, as the evidence shows.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson, IMG Defence Wing, Dublin, Hood.

While that individual may have been overzealous in (what he conceives to be) his service to Bretonia, he will not be prosecuted for actions taken prior to the agreement we are currently ratifying. His actions in Dublin going forward, however, had best be constrained in conformance to our agreement. Otherwise he will find himself in trouble.
While I regret this may not satsify you, Bretonia is at war, and I will not persecute those who serve her (even over-zealously) when I have no legal grounds to do so. This decision is entirely within my rights and powers as the Military Governor of Dublin.
However, I have directed the IAB to investigate and interrogate this individual with a view towards determining whether he is stable enough to be likely to comply with our directives.
If he is not, and there is a risk to order in Dublin as a result, I assure you measures will be taken.

Honourable Admiral James Ralston,
thank you for your fast answer.
Your assurance to act if Mr. Patterson repeats his actions or is found not to be fit to service Bretonia in this environment, is enough for me at the moment.
Would you be so kind as to instruct your agents to tell Mr. Patterson that if he is seen in the IMG Zone of Influence or near our operations, his safety cannot be guaranteed. I told the Hood Defence personel to stand down, even against the perpetrator, but after what he did, I cannot 100 % guarantee that someone in our ranks might not react as "overzealous" as Mr. Patterson did yesterday.
In general, I can only underline the line in the contract that states that small incidents like this one should not endanger the larger effort.
I'll work towards this common goal. If we both do so, I am sure we will succeed in restoring the stability of Dublin. Thank you, Sir, for listening to me.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson, IMG Defence Wing, Dublin, Hood.

Greetings, Fleet Admiral.
The last week since the shooting incidents between IMG and BAF/BMM has been quiet. I'm glad that the incident triggered by Mr. Adam.Patterson has not led to more violence between BAF and IMG.
To keep it that way, I see it as my duty to report to you another incident which Mr. Patterson will try to use against IMG in order to kindle hatred and cause disruption in Dublin.
So I will explain what happened and prove my version in order to show that the IMG is not doing anything bad in Dublin.
Please think of my move as some way of a preemptive defence against an attack that will sooner or later be started by Mr. Patterson.
Myself, Jack Henderson, and Anna.McCarthy spotted an Order delegation in Dublin and we decided spontanously to talk to them because of increased Nomad activity in the vicinity of Hood. The talk was centered around the possibilities of what to expect, what to do in case of an attack and how to deal with different scenarios. It furthermore focussed on the possibility of Nomads being interested in one single person. he submitted pictures show part of the talk, the complete log can be sent if required. I can assure you that no single part of the whole conversation was aimed against Bretonia, its companies or any other party except the Nomads.
The meeting didn't remain undetected and lots of ships came to listen in (especially Gaians), so the Order decided to move to a more private location to continue the talk. The Order told a NLH vessel, Sequoia.Hart, to follow. The reasons for taking her along are unknown to me. She did not participate much in the talk and her contribution was minimal.
This discussion of Nomad acitivities and counter measures was disrupted by Adam.Patterson who charged like a raging beast into the meeting and stated that he would engage IMG ships. He never got that far because the Order vessels engaged him after giving him a warning to leave. IMG vessels moved out without firing a shot because we are not interested in an incident that can be easily misinterpreted against us.
Mr. Patterson downed some Order fighters and fled the ensuing battles that pretty soon became irrational clusters of strange people shooting each other more or less indiscriminately.
While this battle was raging, I talked to a very calm and considered Commanding Officer of the HMS-Carmarthen who then went to check the ongoing situation. We did not get a report, except that he considered the situation solved.
#1: Discussing Nomad Buildup and Counter Strategies
#2: Order inviting Ms. Hart to follow. We had nothing to do with her presence at the meeting.
#3: More talk about the Nomads, their actions and possible reactions.
#4: More talk about the Nomads, their actions and possible reactions.
#5: Patterson arriving and Order warning him to get out.
#6: Talking to the Commanding Officer of the Carmarthen while Mr. Patterson is still fighting.
As trivial as it may sound, from my point of view it makes sense to prove innocence without being charged in this case. There has been enough misinterpretation and mistrust and I'm not willing to go down that road again that might lead to another round of violence.
I'm sure you understand that my motives for the meeting with the Order were concerns for the safety of Hood civilians and IMG personel after the Nomad activities have become more frequent and that there are no anti-Bretonian motives hidden in such a meeting as Mr. Patterson might likely have claimed or might claim in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson, IMG Defence Wing, Dublin, Hood.

Mr. Lawson,
Where in this encounter do you conclude mr Henderson extended an invitation for these Order scouts to enter Bretonia? As far as I can see from the evidence presented, they were already there, much to the confusion of mr. Henderson. And likely drawn towards the frequent appearance of the alien lifeforms known as "nomads" - we've got frequent sightings of them within the Hood perimiter. I've seen your own men investigate them as well.
I know our own standing in Bretonia is likely not one of the best right now, but try not to jump to conclusions based on bias. IMG tends to investigate unusual situations, before deciding a course of action. A number of Order vessels in Dublin we'd certainly call unusual, so it's not strange mr Henderson wanted to find out the reason for their presence. Patterson on the other hand seemed to come in with guns blazing. Again.
That man is a loose cannon, and as such a danger to the peace that both the Admiralty and IMG seek to achieve in Dublin.
Regards,
- Johnathan Sanders, on behalf of the Independent Miners Guild.

Greetings, Fleet Admiral.
I just want to reassert what Mr. Sanders already said: I never invited the Order vessels to Dublin. They were simply there when I looked at the scanners. Your interpretation of the event tells me it was a good idea to get in touch with you as - looking at your reaction - you have very likely already formed an incorrect picture of what has happened.
This picture seems to be biased against IMG, was likely based on intelligence gathered from sources close to BMM (or Patterson himself?) and it should be corrected after having seen the evidence.
And, another aspect that you might find interesting and that could be improved in cooperation:
I tried to work with IAB agents to get the information necessary to establish a plan for a scenario of Nomad attack. The result was that I was threatened to be shot down, arrested and ordered to shut my mouth about the Nomad topic. My wingman's flight computer was wiped and she received the gag-order, too.
With the IAB obviously not willing to assist, the Order vessels were "a target of opportunity" that I decided to use. I do not regret that step because it was essential for the safety of our assets, even though the execution of the sensible plan was poor and the meeting point in Bretonian controlled areas was a bad choice (made by the Order).
I hope this helps to further clarify what has really happened and what are biased views and false pieces of intelligence aimed at causing disruption.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson, IMG Defence Wing, Dublin, Hood.

Topic 1: Patterson seeking trouble again
Topic 2: BAF aiding in criminal actions against IMG
Topic 3: Admiral's Order to close IMG Ops in Dublin
Topic 1: Patterson seeking trouble again
There was another engagement with Mr. Patterson. He was inside the IMG Zone of influence, seeking mischief. I ordered him to leave in order not to cause another incident. He denied. We told him we will drag him out 20 k of Hood if he insisted. He did and we shot him. He forced my hand, as the evidence file proves.
I took the pod of Mr. Adam.Patterson back to show him that we are not willing to fight him, but we do when forced. This act of humanitarian aid was used against me in the following, with the help of the BAF Commander of the HMX~Valiant, a ship twice already in direct conflict with IMG, both times without provocation.
Topic 2: BAF aiding in criminal actions against IMG
The Commander of HMS~Valiant approached and sat 2 k near Essex. Suddenly a Mendalorian Mercenary started to shoot at me, 0,5 k from Essex. He clearly had the permission to do that from HMS~Valiant. The Merc was claiming later that he was collecting bounties for the Outcasts.
Now, I'm aware that BAF and Outcasts sometimes work together against common enemies. I can accept that. We stand down and do not fight alongside Outcasts but IMG does not shoot Outcasts because of their neutral ties with BAF.
But a BAF Warship paving the way for a criminal to attack a Bretonian civilian openly at Essex in the name of the Outcast? I was dumbfounded, and evaded, flying circles around Essex and Valiant, the Merc constantly firing.
After attacking me, in direct vicinity of Essex - the Merc requested HMS~Valiant to restrict my docking rights on Essex in order to make an escape onto the ship impossible. It's not happening often that I dock there, even though I have the permission granted by one of your senior officers. But after having rescued a downed BMM troublemaker and after having proven not to make a fuss about the guy, I would have thought the BAF would repay me with some kindness and assist me to some extent against a criminal (Mendalorian Mercs) collecting for other criminals (Outcasts who want civilians in Bretonia dead).
As shown in the evidence, HMS~Valiant closed the Essex docking procedures for 5 minutes thus giving the Merc free hand in doing what he wanted to do: shoot me to pieces.
Without bots, bats and mines from the Patterson fight, I evaded the Merc and ran to Arranmore, with the Merc chasing me. If confronted, the Merc will claim that I asked the Mollys for assistance, which I did. My situation was desperate and if the law and the army are against me at that moment, the Mollys proved to be on my side. So he disengaged at the sight of the Arranmore field Molly protection group.
Topic 3: Admiral's Order to close IMG Ops in Dublin
And, Sir, I'd like to know your opinion on that new mandate that was used against us yesterday. I can hardly believe that this is an Admiral's order, because it runs contrary to everything we have been talking about.
[18.02.2011 22:45:37] BAF|Cdr.R.Woodrow: New mandate of the Admirality, all IMG vessels are to remain by the Hood or leave the system.
Conclusion:
I'm getting the feeling that someone is trying to make IMG operations in Dublin difficult or impossible. If you can help me find out where that source is, I would be thankful. Because at it is now, I can foresee that there will be many more incidents, all messy, and there is hardly anything I can do to avoid it.
I'm acting as passively as I can, hoping for the Authorities to get it straight. But still, this is happening. I will tell my people to stay down, but this won't work forever. I am not willing to risk the Dublin Operations that I've spent a lot of effort in.
