FLMM is on my C:\ drive, but I've got Freelancer installed on my D:\ drive.
No issues, but I make sure to run both as an admin anyways.
Freelancer Account Manager MUST be run as an admin to work in Windows 7.

Don't install game in program files. Install to desktop or my documents. Do same with Mod manager. I did a clean install to a new pc the other day with no problems. There is a full installation guide here somewhere on the forum.
To be honest, I have Freelancer/FLMM/FLAM all installed in my Program Files folder in the C:\ drive. I never run any of the programs as an Admin (although Im the only person using this pc, so maybe they automatically run as admin dunno) and they still work.
But yea, here is a detailed guide by Cannon if its still not working.

Same here, I got everything installed on E particion in Program Files. Reinstalled windows milion times already, and same with Freelancer stuff, but same situation as at Smokey, I am only one using this PC, there is just one user, so probably got admin acess automatically.
