Ya know, this whole "other spieces oare superior" rant is getting old.
Humanity has its own mortality, as do *ALL* sentient spieces.
Consider this question:
WHAT makes a spieces sentinent?
Direct answer: Being able to determine life from death. or rather, realizing that death is a real thing.
Anything and everything can die. Humanity has a big advantage to itself.. our individuality and ability to overcome things as a group is our biggest stregnth. Our biggest weakness? Petty differences.
No single ruler has lasted in this world. And I seriously doubt it'll ever last in Freelancer too.
If this server ever goes that direction, I'm leaving. Honestly, I am in no mood to even entertain the concept.
And Kane: You forgot Borg.
Starfleet beat the Borg TWICE, and with major, heavy losses. We defeated the Dominion as well. both by simple human ingenuinity.

Borg are very, very, very(etc.) awesome. I watched "the Best of Both Worlds" just the other day. I have to say, the Borg do seem pretty unstoppable, the fortunate thing is, humans ALSO have the ability to adapt. Not in the same ways, though.
Take the battle of "Wolf 359" an Armada of 40 Stafleet vessels were completely destroyed, and it was the largest loss of life in Starfleet history, but the ONE ship that had been doing RESEARCH beat them rather easily. Of course, without Locutus(Picard), the Borg probably would have lost to the Armada at Wolf 359.
Maybe a little too much detail, but the point is still there. Guinan says(I would quote, but can't remember exactly) humans are going to survive, and even though it may take a while, they will regain their strengths. And something along the lines that humans are very powerful creatures. Why do you think the Borg want them so bad?
And the humans becoming stronger is why Miraluka get even better protected. We don't wipe away they brains and make the complete zombies to do our stuff we just tell them what to do so they retain their intellagiance. That intelligiance making them better protectors for Miraluka than C'tan... I never said Humans were weak except when I was in RP... Any human who couldn't be controlled by Miraluka could kill them pretty easily...
"Better protectors for the Miraluka than the C'Tan."
Perhaps it it time I explain just what the Enlightenment process is...
You know how someone can beleive something so compleatly, they won't hear anything contrary to the beleif? Like Jack Tompson, or the secret agent from Serenity (without the revealing of the truth at the end), or what about the suicide bombers who beleive that killing themselfs and a bunch of people around them truly is the right way to go? The Enlightenment process only changes one thing in your brain. Not your inteligence, not your free will, not anything...
Save the fact that you now beleive that the C'Tan are the only things in the universe worth living, fighting, or dying for. It can work on anything with a physical form, and they can modify it for any need. Even your Miraluka, Dab, if put under the knife of the C'Tan surgeons would worship them in this way, giving the C'Tan everything they had.
As I said, the C'Tan are weaklings up close. It's just that you have to GET up close. They never do anything themselfs (save for their own worlds, or field surgeries). Why should they? They have hundreds of different SPECIES to do their bidding.
If you've played Half-Life 2, think of the Combine. Except that this time, there isn't any choise for you.
This is the real true story of rock and roll; it was not about anything more then, how to live your life, as a gangster, in sartorial splendor, and turning the world into a place where normality would never return again...- Malcolm McLaren

Well, I sufice three reasons why, if you look at the faction status, Virus is a commander, Darkstar is THE commander and The Damned, from what I can remember has athority to lead all under Virus and Darkstar into battle.
Another is, they are all no match for you/they know better/ they are just plain lazy.
Last but not least is, you can attack them if you REALY wanted the easy Phantom Kills.

Well it is true only Dakstar and Damned have put up any real good fight. The oers need ALOT more practice.

How is a single fighter suppose to kill a cruiser?
Which by the way is pumping out 14 BS missiles every time, there's no way you can avoid all the missiles using agility or CM's. Even if only 3 or 4 hit you then thats your shield gone and the next salvo of missiles is now already heading at you.
NPC Pirates/terrorists don't EVER carry or use torpedos. I don't have a torpedo launcher mounted anymore as well because you can't torpedo someone who's running away using cruise. Plus filling up on torpedos then using them and failing to kill or hit your target gets very, very expensive and I'm not going to waste any more cash on torpedos.
Plus in PvP I've noticed that alot of people use Novas and kill themselves most of the time along with the person they were fighting.
Now I'm not complaining about this but it's not a true showing of how good someone is when they get torped on the 1st head to head pass. It only shows how easy it is to kill people with Novas.
You want to fight me when I use my Phantom character, fine be my guest, but please use your eagle and just your guns and any missiles you've got not novas. Because anyone, even a Newbie, can get you using torpedo's.

Without Novas they still need more practice... And I was refering to fight in my fighter not when my huegenot fights you. Not really much a chance for a lone fighter vs. my huegenot. They still need fighter vs. fighter practice though.
Novas are allowed. And the trick is to shoot the nova with guns as soon as it is fired blowing it up in my face. And you dodn't really put up much a fight in the battle of New London. And that was 3 v 1.
