I must say, the GC Bomber is pure awesome. You just made me create another character. Thanks. :P
The cat is looking pretty neat. The only thing though is the wings seem a bit underwhelming compared with a lot of the other designs. I think it'd seem Kusari-er if they were flared a bit and a slightly different color perhaps?
I agree with mjolnir, this new cat (the one on page 1) -does- look a bit like a dragon's head... It also looks tough and sturdy, which is how bombers should be... they arent the kind of ship that you dance around someone in, they're not fighters, they should be able to take a beating while bearing down on the enemy.
Plus, as I said before, it reminds me of WW2 jap planes, which is just cool =P
Think of the 'wings' on it as the ears of the dragon.
the lack of extended "wings" on the replace is due to the fact that we need to get it rolling - and making a hitbox for wings is just a bit more complex than making a tubelike hitbox.
that is the main reason that it has none of the characteristic kusari solar panels - besides, making it larger is one thing - but we shouldn t go from being the smallest bomber ingame to being the greatest supernova catcher... .
it is NOT a catamaran, it was never supposed to be replaced by a catamaran. - the catamaran idea is GONE. - both, the kusari bomber AND the orca are NO twin body ships anymore. - the concept is dead and buried.
names will change also - so we won t be as unsensitive and name the new catamaran the same again... but it ll get a neat japaneese name that no one can understand.

Use my suggestion! =P
"Ryusei" - was used as the name for a WW2 japanese torpedo bomber, Ryusei means "shooting star", which IMO fits the long narrow model of the craft quite well.
I hate to say it, and I really have nothing against Mohr, but..
Catamaran is the greatest fail in the ship designs we had in 4.84.
-It's a speed-boat for water purposes, not a space-craft.
-It doesn't look anything similar to Kusari vanilla ships. (They look like wyrms, bended over, with head close to it's legs. Cat simply goes straight).
That's for the looks.
-It's too small, too fast, too thin, too powerful.. Simply put, too good.
-It's boring to fly it. A fighter with dual torp slots and unlimited power core.
-It's almost impossible to balance it well. It's either going to be too good or total crap.
Someone said it looks too complicated compared to Catamaran and other Kusari ships.
I ask you.. What is simple about Chimaera or BD HF? Or Drake? Or Wyrm?
They all look like insects, high-tech.
Maybe that picture from the first page does look like from N4S, but that's because the skin is so perfect.
You won't see that in game. It's going to look a lot different, like Jinx already shown you.
I totally agree with Mjolnir. Most of you 'nay-sayers' are comparing it to Catamaran, because Catamaran is, in your mind, how a Kusari bomber should look like.
Forget about Catamaran and you'll see that this new model fits very nicely.
Place it right next to Chimaera, BD HF, Drake, Black Dragon and new GC bomber and you'll see the patter.
Do that with Catamaran and you'll see a speed-boat poking your eyes.

I say it should be called:
BISHAMON - Good Fortune God of War.
Clad in fiercesome armor, he sorts out enemies, protects against disease and loves a good demon-bashing. He also hands out rewards to the law-abiding.
Ah, i was going to mention that it can't be called Catamaran but I see Sindroms beat me too it.
it looks a little thin, though other than that I like it.
