1: What technology are you referring to? Or do we need permission from zoner factions for our ships now?
2: May i see evidence of this? All our ships have either zoner or zoner guard ID.
3: Pardon me? This would mean we attacked first, right? what really is unusual.
4: We do not have tags / IFF so how can it mismatch our ID? Sometimes due to a bug other players see different IFFs on ships without tags but we cannot really held responsible for that, can we?
5: We are very different from the official zoner factions, but does that mean that their kind of roleplay is the only possible solution? What exactly did we do what was not zoner-like? I am talking about zoners, not the player factions.
6: we usually do this sometimes in group chats but not in public. If someone has done this i am sorry but wouldn't that lead to a sanction of this individual and not the whole group?
7: please some examples / evidence on this one. I really don't know what you mean by this.
In brief (not a complete list)
1) Zoners need permission from the Order faction to fly Order ships
2) Evidence of a ship carrying two IDs
3) You can't just attack people for "insults". The Zoner ID, of all IDs, is most explicit on this

PvP Abuse: from my point of view it would be quite logical that someone insulting one of the leaders of a proud society in front of their home station pays for it.

This has indeed been resolved. It is important that you ensure that you know who is identifying themselves as part of your faction and maintain some degree of discipline within the ranks.

By extension of this, virtually anything could be intrepreted as a insult. You must remain within the restrictions of the ID you carry.

If you are going to fly Zoner Guard ships and claim to be Zoners, you should have a tag reflecting this. If you are not Zoners, do not use the ID.

The main issue here concerns hostility among Zoners. Shooting may be accidental or it may not. However, re-naming stations, saying you are taking control of them - these actions are not acceptable. Persons carrying the same ID as you are indistinguishable from fellow faction members. This applies to other Zoner groups as well. Official factions have certain rights that non-official factions do not. The exercise of these rights must be reasonable.

We'll take you at your word for that. Note that official factions can shape the diplomacy of the ID to a certain extent.

The intent of this jailing is twofold. Firstly, it is intended to stop the current situation which appears to be escalating and almost entirely negative for you and other players. And secondly, to clarify a few things - i.e.the nature of relations within the Zoner factions and player base, the role of the ORI- within the Zoner roleplay and the future of the ORI- faction. It may be that your faction has a positive and influential role to play within the game.
However a certain amount of reflection, planning and a more careful reading of the server rules is necessary at this stage.
The Admin team opted for jailing as opposed to a reputation change. A civil war within the Zoners will not fly, and will be regarded as an ID violation. All Zoner players should take note of this last point.
I understand your point of view.Since this comes at the time when everybody wants to "pew-pew" us,i think it's high time for some re-organization,re-planning,etc...Alright.
I got nothing to report,i'm ok with this.I'll give my best to contribute in finding a solution.
IFF / tag: If it is not allowed for us to fly these ships without a Zoner IFF tag, we will of course make sure they soon will have it again. We droprepped because we thought the important thing to identify us as zoners would be the ID and not the IFF. Pilgrim, sorry about my bad knowledge of the VE, i mistook you for freelancer IDed players :$.
Zoner hostility: I do not know much of this renaming a station, but i think it is about us calling the freeports "oriports". But i dont think any of us had a serious goal of in fact claiming a station by this. If it is so much trouble we won't call it like that anymore...but a bit of fun should be ok huh?
treated unfairly: what rivas said is true, many of us have been attacked recently with really doubtful reasons and obviously metagaming because we are at war with other characters of the attackers. This is annoying and so it often may look like we are fighting almost against the whole universe, but in fact i believe it is only a group of players with different chars and factions. Reporting this is a bit difficult as it is hard to gain any real evidence.
ORI-situation: I admit that the problems we were part of increased in the last few days a lot. But as we surely are responsible in many ways, i think it is wrong to simply blame all bad on us.
We will however have an internal discussion on how to go on from here and the future of us in general.
Any suggestions on this will be gladly heard.
