So recently I had to a complete reinstall of freelancer, and when I got back on the game after the re-installation, it asks for my freelancer ID.
I looked on my machine, and I didn't have it saved anywhere. The last time I messed with it I had it physically written down, and that paper is long gone.
I didn't even know reinstalling it would erase my ID, I thought i marked it to keep all save data and all that stuff, on my older computer I had to reinstall it once and it didn't do this.
I only have one character, but I need him to pass the last part of my faction's starting rank evaluation in the next couple of days.
His name is
[RM]Fl.Martin.Nelson
also, if you need my IP address, i can pm it to you [admins], or you can just see from where I am posting this.
Where I was born was not my choice, but where I want to be, and what, is.
is it possible it is still on machine in anyway? I reinstalled, anyway... my Rheinland superiors might kill me if I need a new ship, and I do not know how to make any decent money.
I thought I told it to keep saved data, so I assumed my ID would stay as well. oh well.

The ID of Freelancer is generated randomly once you install the game. If you didn't save the .reg file manually or by using FLAM(or similiar tools) it's gone and not saved on your PC, as it's simply a line in your OS' registry.
I mean, I even qoute something Martin said in my sig lol. Is this enough proof probably? Also, I could refer an admin to the Rhienland leaders as well to confirm this.
edit: the links to the message dump are not jumping to the post for me when I checked to see if they were working. But they are on that page, just use the 'search' function for Nelson
