Renzu corp guns?

I figured if the Renzu corporation started making ship mounted guns, it would give us a good excuse to expand the pool of available weapons to independents to include things other than chainguns, flashpoints, and codename guns. I do not know what Renzu guns would be exactly, but I picture something slower firing than flashpoints, maybe a neutron or tachyon blaster gun just to round out the available nerf-less arsenal. Maybe even make them 600 m/s so they sync with other slow guns in the game.

They would not be any better than faction guns of the same type, just slower guns you could get in more places to be a counterpart to the fast firing fast moving Flashpoint guns.

I like the idea of having a bigger variety of civilian guns, the only ones availble now are Flashies, PG and Codes, which is not enough imho.

A 4.00 Tachyon gun would be a good start, I guess.

Also, why Renzu, and not someone who makes guns, like Ageira or Daumann or Kishiro?

That is my main reasoning... that and Renzu lacks the stigma of other house corporations... imagine using Ageira guns on a Rheinland ship, someone would Q_Q and the nerf monster would come out to play.

It's a shame that corporations lack a certain significance when they don't develop weapons. Guns and death are the only currencies in our arcade shooter. :cool:

I say convert some of the less spectacular codes into civilian guns. And this could work well with that. Specifically, with all those JADE and ONYX in S-13, they may have stumbled across some of these prototypes, updated them, and expand their line.
