Actually, refire of 0.2 would do just fine.

Does anyone know how would it affect e-kill?

Q_Qing? It's not MY faction. It's a faction I am a part of. Don't be so small and say that THIS would somehow miss factions.

This is just someone sad, with a sad idea, that would make everyone else more sad.

Just stop making this game even worse. Improve things...IMPROVE THINGS...stop suggesting things that only subtract from it.

I call your missiles and raise you a TCD at the start of a joust. Tactical loadout beats snubliness any day. As for the interdictor, I can see those working using an extremely short lifetime, low damage, huge area effect disruptor that selfdestructs/detonates when it times out. I think you can configure weapons to work that way without any flhook stuff.

My personal thought? Put these on battleships or the likes, and have them block around 5K. Smalls can still thrust away from those. Main issue would be that NPCs also get disrupted, and would go hostile with you. As for how it affects e-kill, each time you're disrupted e-kill is canceled. That would not change.

Removing EK would make some ships like slower fighters useless, etc...etc...

Wothout e kill will all fly only in lf,because there will ne no chance to get on tail or more agile ship...

To Öthienka: You sir, did you not read what I had said. Being a Star Wars Geek, like how Star Trek have Trekies, I will correct you. The Interdictor Star Destroyer & the Inmobilizer 418 cruiser are one in the same. The Interdictor has no predecessor. The Z-95 had a predecessor, the Incom T-65 X-wing Snub Starfighter, and both are predecessors of the ARC-170 Starfighter used in the Clone Wars. The Interdictor was designed and sanctioned by the Emperor. Common name is the Interdictor, its model ID Inmobilizer 418 cruiser.

On Topic: If something similar to the Interdictor from Star wars was introduced, various rules would apply.
  1. Only Military based factions would have access to such technology.
  2. Any ships with in the radius of the "Gravity Well" ship would have no ability to use Cruise engines.
  3. Anyone with in the radius are subjected to the effects(Friendlies and hostile alike).
  4. Ship is based on Support type craft and requires escort.
A Anti-cruise/hyperdive based ship using a field to prevent escape can only do so much. If such a vessel is introduced, its a very big target and noticeable, allowing fighters to take it out. Reason for the list above, support craft requires at least some form of secondary defencive measures.

The idiotic part of it is you turn the engine back on and the ship slows down. Wait we are coasting why does turning on the REAR thruster make the ship lose forward momentum?

Why are there three separate sets of thrusters?

Why does the little bittle cruise thruster make my ship go full speed when my main engines are at full burn or offline (afterburner in EK)

It's all just ridiculous. Every bit of it, including EK
