The Intruder is a Prison Liner that used to serve under the LPI. However, one day it failed to report in. Two inmates aboard the ship, Rufus Wolfgang and Joseph Tomasso, started a riot, quickly taking over the ship. From there, The Society was born. Currently, The Intruder is in the Bering system, scoping out Rheinland interests.
Alex docked his Eagle with the Intruder and finished the shutdown sequence. He couldn't help the feeling that this would be so much easier if Blain was around. With a sigh he left the ship and went to the cargo bay.
Emma looked up at him when he opened the back.
"Pitstop or are we actually there now?" She asked her words coated in venom.
"We're actually there." Emma allowed herself to be led off of the Eagle and Alex checked that she hadn't messed around with the restraints. Deciding they were fine he moved to the nearest comunications unit and dialed Rufus's office.
"Hey boss man... can you come down to the hangar for a sec? We have a small..." He looked back at Emma who was currently flipping him off. "...problem." He finished.
Rufus sat in his office, reading over anything he could get his hands on. "God dammit. Blain had to choose the wrong time to retire. I'm loosing too many men. Now I gotta organize this hijacking myself" His PA buzzed with an incoming message from Alex. He slams his hand on the Speak button. "Dammit Drake! I'm busy!" "Hey boss man... can you come down to the hangar for a sec? We have a small......problem." "Fine! Another bloody problem!" Rufus throws his PA against the wall, and walks down to the hanger. Standing near Alex's Eagle, he sees a restrained woman fighting against Alex. Rufus pulls his pistol and aims it at the woman. "Drake, what is the rule on bringing people back to the Intruder?!"
Emma flinched at the sight of the pistol and the curses she was shouting at Alex died on her lips.
"I know." Alex replied with a sigh. "Don't bring people back. She was in the cargo bay the whole time and she has no idea where we are."
"Besides... she's... well its complicated. I couldn't just leave her out in the middle of nowhere. Look, it's a prison liner. I'm sure there's a multitude of cells we can throw her in until the end of time itself if that'll make you happy." Alex added.
Rufus throws the pistol down to the ground "Just throw her somewhere, as long as she stays out of my sight Alex. Now I need you to get back to work on the equipment for the hijacking. And there's a change in plans. We'll all be entering through the engine compartment in one strike group. I'll get to work on securing a CSF to get us there. I'll explain more later, alright?" He walks past Alex, handing him a 1 million credit chip "This is for finding Joseph, You'll get the entire bounty if you manage to take him out." He continues walking, going to clear out Blain's room, and to pay Clyde a visit.
Alex exhaled a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding.
"Crisis averted." He muttered under his breath grabbing Emma by the arm and leading her away.
"He's your boss?" She asked.
"Yes." Alex replied.
"And what hijacking?"
"It's a secret." Alex replied in a sing song voice that only served to make Emma angry. Alex led Emma to a part of the ship he figured Rufus didn't frequent. Out of sight, out of mind. He locked Emma in the cell and sighed.
"Now if anyone comes this way be polite okay? Unless its Clyde and he starts hitting on you, then you can punch him for me."
Emma sighed.
"Fine Alex. Can I have my smokes back?" Alex nodded and handed them to her while he removed the restraints before closing and locking the cell. He opened his mouth to say something, then shook his head and walked off.
Emma just lit a cigarette and leaned back against the wall.
Bonnie and Clyde were getting some alone time, far away from the realities of life on the high cardimine brings one too. Lying naked on their bunk, a bed far too small for anything ambitious, and a room resembling the prison cell it once was. Clyde chose this section of the Intruder to hide away in, no one can hear the screams his dreams invoke, or the screams his women make in the heat of the moment.
Isolation is how Bonnie and Clyde worked, no one to trust but each other.
Clydes impeccable hearing catches footsteps entering his block, and the state of alertness the cardi rush brings has Clyde instantly lose all sense of relaxation.
"What now....? I was settled. Damn it!"
He pulls the covers over himself and Bonnie, for a last moments embrace before reality comes crashing home
Rufus walks up to Clyde's door, pressing the PA button. "Bonnie, Clyde. If you're not busy with whatever the hell you two are always up to, I need you at Rochester. Alex found Joseph, and we need to get him before he leaves." Rufus goes to walk away, but then stops. "Oh, one more thing. You and Bonnie are going to be leading raid parties during the hijacking, we're having a meeting between the group leaders in a few hours when everyone gets back. It'd be best if you two were there."
[font=Times New Roman]"I really don't like you right now...." [color=#000000]She muttered as Rufus told them they were going to be leading the raid parties. Bonnie sighed and quickly finished the last of her can of Bourbon before getting out of bed."Clyde. Where is my cigarettes..."She asked while putting on a tidy, rather low cut, and tight fitting black flight suit, with a black widow spider stitched on the back.
"Wait.. What? You mean I'm actually gunna be getting them guns now?"Bonnie grinned as she thought of the havoc that could be caused with them. She tossed Clyde a fresh bourbon from the fridge, and opened one for herself as she grabbed her tobacco and headed out the door to the flight deck where her fighter was being repaired, attempting to ignore Rufus as she walked past him.
