In-RP, tradelanes have the ability to scan ships that pass through them. It's not unrealistic to have that information available to local law enforcement.
Meta-gaming is when you use information your character shouldn't have. TLAGSNET is a totally In-RP thing, as such, your character has that information and can use it. Thus, it's not meta-gaming.

Eh? That's impossible. For several reasons.
1) Alpha and Gamma have no lanes.
2) Corsairs are not Police. No matter how much they pray to Cannon.
3) It only works in a respect Police's House. So a BPA won't get intel in say Rheinland, and Kusari won't get any intel on Liberty, and so on.
:P
And no, probably not. But it does mean a corrupt cop could sell information to less than legal people. Maybe something like... *COUGH COUGH*
This.Is.Epic!!!!. Thank you cannon you're epic! This will bring back life to police factions as well as allowing us to police sufficiently! I'm happy its near Tradelanes as well, that will mean that its fair.
Well, any criminals who used jumpgates before anyway weren't that smart. All the good criminals have always had their own routes far away from the tradelanes and patrol areas
