[font=Cambria]Wexler gave off a slight grin almost like he had expected the disapproval of alcohol.
Grabbing Alesky's glass of whiskey that had remained untouched on the table he said with a mocking tone;
"Haha, you are full of life when you stand next to Gaians but when it comes to whiskey you shy away like a scared girl."
Smirking for a second before he emptied Alesky's glass.
[color=#FF5555]"So anyways, I think it's about time we start briefing our pilots yeah? I mean hardly anyone in the lower command has any clue what we are doing there in Omega-50. Sure they know we are shooting loyalists but the purpose remains unknown to them."
As he finished he leaned back a bit on his chair moving onto a more relaxed position waiting for Alesky to chip in.
Alesky resisted letting out a sigh of relief as Wexler grabbed his glass, he really had little desire to pour the liquid down his throat. His face cleared for a moment as he listened to Wexler continue on with his glass in hand.

[font=Arial Black]With that, Alla's gaze shifted briefly to the young woman across the bar with neck-length auburn hair, and quickly back to Wexler. His nose crinkled at the sight of watching the man before him lazily sip the brew, starting to talk himself to change the subject.
"Anyway... yeah, briefing is a good idea. I've only spoken to Lazarev and Stroganov in private, very briefly about the details, everyone else is still in the dark, and well, it's almost time isn't it?"
He was speaking uncharacteristically fast, as he kept his eyes trained on Wexler rather than the floor.
[font=Cambria]Wexler had noticed Alesky's swift look towards the woman with an unfamiliar face. Given the timing of him mentioning the word "Gaian" and Alesky's reaction, Wexler had already deducted it she was one of them. Not like it was a problem, but he couldn't help himself continuing the humorous subject.
"Ah yes briefing. I'll make sure they are all updated before we send them off to one of our most risky operations so far. But enough of that, it's more fun talking about the latest street-rumour."
Taking another sip from the whiskey he smiled at Alesky and said;
[color=#FF5555]"So. This Sequoia."
Carefully pointing at the woman Alesky had glanced at earlier.
Alesky followed Wexler's pointing back towards the woman he looked at previously. He was slightly taken aback by the question, but held his composure, as he looked back to his friend and nodded.
"Da. That's Miss Hart."
Alla kept the laughter inside his head as he replied, knowing his amusement could come at a price. In truth, the woman they were both discussing was Lieutenant Miley McGreave, and Alesky had a feeling Wexler wasn't going to stop with a simple question.
She looked for the one who talked to her. She smiled a little by looking at this obviously very tired man...well a comrade. "Yeah, I'm from Leeds. Born in the worker slums. But growing up there is not too bad." She sighs remembering all the old times. Then she added quickly "Well it was, bloody hell it was, but not for me...I had alot of friends down there. I only never knew why my father was..." She stopped abruptly. "Wow...I'm sorry. I'm Miley!" She smiled her 'white-teeth-smile' again. "Who are you?"
[font=Century Gothic]He rubbed his eyes quickly, in a futile attempt to look less tired. "Sergei here, nice to meet you..." He scanned the girl, then he took a quick look around him, firstly noticing Captain Ling and after few seconds, the two higher-ups in the corner located on his right side. [color=#FFCC99]"I share roots in Leeds too. Coming from my mother. I bet you can figure the rest by you-..." He couldn't resist yawning, stopping before he could finish the sentence. "Eh, forgive me. These days have been harder than I expected. Aaanyways, have a seat I'll get you a drink if you wish, comrade."
After a few more drinks, Victor thought he had worked up the nerve to do what he came there to do. Before he could get up though, he felt a vibration in his jacket, he immediately tensed up before realizing it was his datapad. Pulling it out of his jacket he opened the message that was forwarded to him from 14.
"Well Sergei", she smiled, "a drink would be nice!" She glanced shortly at Alla and the other man in the corner. They were looking in her direction, but it was the direction of the door too so she couldn't find out if they were looking at her. She lightly shrugged and took seat at the table next to her. Then she smiled at Sergei again.
[font=Century Gothic]Sergei noticed Miley looking at the two high-up's of the rebellion sitting in the corner. He glanced briefly at the corner. They both were looking at them, couldn't precise if Miley or Sergei himself, but the Lieutenant decided to ignore the situation. "It's not like those two scan every single individual who steps into this place. That song you were whistling and this situation may give me a clue about you. Let me guess... Is Alesky involved? " He smiled and made a gesture to the bartender [color=#FFCC99]"Whatever the lady wants, this round is on me."
