The Blood Dragons Cruiser

I stumbled on it while browsing over what ships I want to buy with my next purchase. And I saw the Kagutsuchi and instantly thought "That is the most beautiful cruiser I have ever seen"
And then I saw that it had 7 turret mounts and 1 forward gun.... And the only forward gun available sucks imo.

So has anybody tried this? Is it worth the 200 mills + 50 for armor + 20 for a forward gun, two pulses, a mortar, and 4 battle razors or basics turrets?

I mean, I love cruisers, but I don't think that this one looks promising.

I haven't tried it, but from the stats looks similar to the LSC. Use the forward gun to snipe caps from a long distance. Pretty useless otherwise.

Just to be safe, I'd try it in SP or on Discovery of Discovery.

Well, I personally think that it's indeed one sexy ship, but not quite useful in combat. You'll use it against KNF most of the time, logical, their destroyer eats the Kag alive.

It's too big and hasn't close to enough turrets if you ask me. It needs a buff. Either reduce its size, or for gods sake give it more turrets.

I'd give it 1 Fwrd. and 9 Normal..... And some good faction basics. Since they have none of their own/need em.

It's a really terrible ship, it's too big, too slow, it doesn't have enough guns, it's forward gun does too little damage for too much energy, it's projectile is hard to track which makes it hard to aim. It's so out of place, the only ship it is really worth using against is the Kusari Battleship, which are far and few, meaning you'll be raped and burned up by pretty much every other kind of ship you fight.

Looks nice though.

It's funny that the LSC is one of the best cruisers, and the Kagutsuchi is one of the worst.
