I turned the computer off. Went out the door outside, possibly joining some friends. Changed course to the bathroom. Did the deed. Returned into the house. Turned computer on.
Yeah, I average up having about 7 - 8 quarts of old oil every 3 months or so.
Normally saturate everything that we've accumulated from the lawn debris and trimming trees, cleaning out the gutters, and other wood scrap from the shop, and then light it up. Burns real nice.
EDIT: Side note. I live out in the country, too.

As a general rule, burning toxic materials is a bad idea.
Unless, of course, the materials in question form a complete combustion cycle, like most forms of gasoline.

I'm having trouble deciding if you are serious or if you are trolling the environmentalists here on the board....
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust
I did contribute. I shut down the main switch went out to Sheffield's Crookes park with my laptop and mobile internet. Then I played FL in the complete darkness with 400 ping fluct 20 loss 2 lagg 16 and I felt good! I am not trolling seriously!

Both.
The firepit we have dug out back is down about 6' in hard clay, and about 5' in diameter. With the amount of material burnt there over time (10 years now), it's QUITE nicely baked and hard. We'll clean it out every 2 - 3 years. If I lived in the city, obviously I wouldn't burn much of anything. I don't.
So when the trees dump their leaves - they go in the pit. When the pine trees shed their needles - they go in the pit. When we cut the grass - actually, most of the time I use a mulching blade so it stays on the yard, but otherwise - the clippings go in the pit. And when I change the oil in our vehicles - it goes into the pit.

That's the polite way of saying I took the old carpeting and foam pad that I've pulled up (because we're putting in new carpeting), took it out back, poured some used engine oil on it, and lit it on fire. It easily burned for more than an hour.
I live in Canada.
I lit a tire on fire.
I say bring on the global warming.
But really I never fell for that scare tactic. Earth has reached much warmer then this by natural occuring phenomena, humanity hasn't even scratched the surface of effecting the climate the way the planet does to itself. It's a natural cycle we are facing, don't fall for scheme that leads to some company making a monopoly on "green tech". Only reason why I feel we need to be ready to ditch oil is because there isn't a unlimited supply and it takes like hundreds of thousands of years for oil to be created.
