[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie shook her head when he grinned. "[color=#FF99FF]Consider yourself lucky I'm stuck in here.. if that happens again, it wont be you that kills yourself.." She raised an eyebrow, wanting to know if he was actually taking her seriously. Clyde went to stand up to leave, she considered letting him go for a second, before deciding against it, the thought that she might loose him again crossed her mind. "No.. Don't go. If you think you can get me out of here without too much hassle I could do with a drink or few. Not to mention a damn cigarette or cardimine or something. She thought about what Russel and the rest of the guys would have to say about it, but decided as long as she wasn't seen she would be fine... Although, knowing her luck, she would get caught regardless.
[font=Times New Roman]They got to the bar unseen, Bonnie frowned as she walked into the corner of a table, cursing, she did that every time when she came into the bar. They found a quiet corner, and ordered some glasses and a bottle of alcohol, and a packet of cigarettes for Bonnie. [color=#FF99FF]"So, going to tell me what actually happened?" She lit a cigarette, and poured herself and Clyde a drink. "You were gone a while, you know."She pulled the last of the Cardimine she had acquired out of her pocket and offered Clyde some. "Its a little stronger then usual, but you know, it does the trick."
Clyde hesitates a moment, a flashback coming to him regarding his H-Wine incident. He pauses, considers it a moment longer then accepts"Sure babe, been a little while."
They have a couple drinks, a couple lines and a smile appears on Clydes face.
"So, there is a new girl on station.... Shall we get into her?"Clyde asks ruefully. purposely avoiding the question aimed at him
Alex jumped out of his Eagle after returning from his... meeting. He cracked his knuckles, and made his way to Emma's cell. He picked up a soda for her on the way.
She was pacing impatiently when he arrived.
"Where the hell you been?" She asked him.
"Busy with... stuff."
"Clyde said you didn't come back after the Barge hijacking."
"I went to meet with a client. Soda?"
Emma snatched the soda from him with a grunt.
"You had me worried you know?"
"I'm sure."
She took a sip of the soda and then froze.
"This tastes weird."
"I know."
She fixed Alex with her 'I'm going to kill you in a second' stare.
"You drugged me?"
"You really do need the sleep Emma."
And then she collapsed. Alex caught her quickly and hesitated for a moment before draping the girl over his shoulders.
"Now let's get you home shall we?" He muttered to himself. Walking back towards the hangar.
[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie gave Clyde a look of concern when he hesitated, and sighed as she realised he wasn't going to tell her what had happened, contemplating how else she could get that information. The doctors would have the records, until he left, and they wouldn't be too hard to get. After that, she wouldn't know.
[color=#FFFFFF]"So, there is a new girl on station.... Shall we get into her?""You mean that chick that Alex bough here? She's not too bad ae... would she still be in the cells? I don't know what Alex was thinking bringing her here, Rufus must be... I bet he isn't impressed." She paused for a minute "Remind me to go check out the carnage I caused in the hanger, apparently there isn't much of my ship left. I so wanna see it."
Rufus walks behind Alex, moving quietly as to not be noticed. As soon as Alex enters a dark corner, Rufus hits Alex in the back of the head with a blackjack. As Alex wakes up, he finds himself tied up and leaning against the door he was walking by. Rufus stands over him, a look of anger on his face. "Alex, there you are, good. Now tell me, where in the living hell have you been, and why shouldn't I throw you out the airlock for appearing unannounced?"
"You could have just asked." Alex replied. "No need to club me. But if you must know a bunch of Daniel Marshal's lackies abducted me from the Barge so that we could have a chat. They just let me go a couple of hours ago. I was going to call you but then I though 'hey, I should get Emma out of here now since nothing'll be going on for a while.' If her leaving is a problem then fine, she can stay forever for all I care. I just figured you'd want her out of here by now."
Alex rotated his neck.
"So... did you really miss me that much?" Alex asked.
"Yes, I did. Paperwork's been piling up in my office, and I don't have the patience for it." He picks up Alex and unties him. "I don't care if she comes or goes, I thought she left already. And next time you get kidnapped, send a message or something."
"Alright, boss. Send the paperwork over to my office and I'll go through it all when I get back." Alex sighed and realized that with the turbulent week of hijackings, and abductions he really did miss the Intruder.
He returned to the Eagle in the hangar, checked to see that Emma was still out cold and launched. Now to find someone he could trust to hand her off too...
