Maybe after a few graphic mods have been approved you could add them into the FLMM discovery mod and make it optional, just like the Enb mod. This would make it a little easier for people to get those mods.
By the way, I've been using the Realistic Lighting Mod for a few days now, and I love it. Even though it's difficult to find one's personal favorite-setting.
Also, it can make some fights a bit more difficult, since sometimes you can't actually see the enemy due to the shadowing.
But altogether it's really nice, makes many objects look better and gives the universe a more realistic look. And it sure beats the hell out of the quad-light-source system (or whatever it was) that vanilla FL uses.
I've currently got it cranked all the way down to 10% and it still works fine for me. The side of the ship which is out of direct light is almost black which is a nice touch of realism, and it's near perfect for planets. When fighting I personally don't find it much of a problem due to the rather obvious HUD targeting system.
Now all we need is someone to redo all the star spheres...
I installed the mod a few days ago as well and I must say I wasn't really impressed... I had expected much much more than just a little sun and shadow rendering... It doesn't really make the universe look more realistic, and after I activated and had forgotten about it I didn't even notice a difference... It's cool but completely unnecessary.
