Joe012 & Firebird: Can the event be delayed by a week? I don't think that you'll have all the volunteers and details settled in time. Also, I would like to participate, but I don't think the character that I'm planning to use will be ready by this coming Saturday.

All players must be above level 40. All mercenaries and traders must have an appropriate ID.

I've got three characters ranked 30-39, none over 39. The character I'm planning to use for this event, Juan_Williams, was given $4,000,000 by a generous trader making me rank 42 until I bought a ship. Current rank is 38-39 (keeps going back and forth due to equipment changes and trading) with a trader ID, but I need to fix my RP, as I've got a Junker ship and Liberty Navy tag.

I'm up for a delay I might be able to make it next week as well as help get things better prepared, but it is Joe's event and call, I'm just helping with some details. And with that in mind...

Ophiuchi/Moira...any particular reason for posting the same message in 4 different places, granted the others make sense for the message dumps but why here? What does your demands have to do with this event? The only link I see is a desire for 'Sirius Bud'. If NLH wants to participate then by all means they're welcome to but within the scope of the event rather than having two events competing for people's attention. Btw, a suitable reply from the SF to your demands will be made in the SF message dump.

Well, one of our main things was 'we don't care if you're smoking weed in your backyard... our job is to protect that backyard'. However, we don't take well to traitors either... so, it really depends on whether he hands over military supplies or information, really. If he's just headed to Kusari to get stoned, well, who cares? We don't need that sort in Bretonia.

I dont see any problem with moving the event back 1 week, as both of you (FireBird and Juan) have been major contributors to this idea, and it will allow more time for more planning and setup. Also, I would like to invite any Admins to come along, to ensure fair RP and that all discovery rules are followed.

The event is herebye moved back 7 days (next saturday), with the same start time.

Touche! Good point, that. I forgot we're not quite exactly regular police or military. =P Probably at least in part because Martin's from the military, and tends to act like it whether it's appropriate or not. XD

Darn. I was hoping to get in on the action . . . I will keep an eye on this thread. Will independent participants be allowed? Though my independent char is police-affiliated, he trades with Junkers and Mollies, and he just might switch his X-shuttle for something more capable of convoy defense. Mainly because he lacks the million credits required to participate directly (unless that rule has been changed)

Independents would be allowed but should fall into one of the prescribed rolls. Example would be that an independent police could attach himself to either the BAF/BPA or KNF/KSP depending on which side of the border they're on. No problem with AoR running escort. Keep in mind the escorts can be of two types, ones protecting the convoy in general and ones more focussed on the protection of the weed boats depends who is paying the fees.

The $1 mil will be supplied to the convoy from the cash pot. The cash will acts as a bonus for whoever's able to obtain it. The rest of the pot then gets divided evenly so that all parties involved get something at the end.

So the event is next Saturday (Nov. 7th), yes? And at what time (and time zone) will this be happening?

Also, if the QCO are not participating (I think we should, go and "observe" for the BAF, then when the fighting begins, we go to try and keep the intest of The Bretonian Government), but if theya re not, I have a traider that would. This is ofcourse asumming that I'm even around when the event takes place as I work that day untill 11pm EST.
