Time went on. Kasimierz remained. Eyeing a woman who had come in before him, and faced with the ever-present danger of boredom, he pulled out a notepad that was comically small in his large hand. In the other appeared a pencil that, given his proportions, also appeared small. Leaning against the wall -gingerly, for fear that he might damage it- he flipped to a blank page and began a rough sketch.

Alexej was totally surprised of the new recruit just storming in. Thining what he could say the applicant remained quiet. He felt the succes of the social credit in his own life. It was a refreshing change after the trouble of the ration coupons. And then, he spoke half of a word, the bolt of Leifs weapon moved into his neck, cutting the carotid artery. With a surprised grimace he felt down.

In the meanwhile, the young Nikolai Chevchenko entered the waiting room of the Trotzky. He looked like he worked down on Volgograd for at least thirty years though he was not older than 25 at all. Entering the room full of recruits he throwed a "Privet!" against the mass of applicants and took a number. As there were not even empty chairs left to sit down he just leaned at the wall, watching the other recruits and those who got thrown out of the commisars' offices, slowly loosing his self confident smile on the scarred face.

'Commissar, I'm afraid I can't help you. I have heard of neither of these men.' Are these men known spies? he almost asked, before catching his tongue.

Mendel dropped the file and came round the table,

"Who is Grigor Linsky?" He leaned back on the table, resting his boot against the arm of Pete's chair, rocking it back and forth.

"Yes, but *WHY* is that enslaving humanity?! Why is it against our values? Don't give me half answers.. Perhaps you need something to make you think more."

He removed the knife from the recruits hand and instead implanted it in his left shoulder, he then took it out and plunged it into his other shoulder.

"Now before you start bleeding out and dying on this floor, let's hear some answers, let's see some begging."

He towered over the bloody recruit. Knife ready to strike again.
