Since Juan_Williams is hostile with the Bounty Hunters Guild, do you realize that any players grouped with my character will also get attacked by NPC bounty hunters?
A little more about Juan_Williams' RP: I listed my character's enemies earlier: "My enemies include the Nomads, Xenos, Hogosha, GC and Bounty Hunters Guild (which could make things interesting with the convoy's escorts)." What I didn't mention is that those are my current enemies. There are three factions that my character hates with a passion, but which for practical reasons are currently neutral: the Unioners, Red Hessians and Bretonian Armed Forces. Why? When Juan_Williams was under-ranked, I witnessed the second RM-TBH battle in Frankfurt. Afterward, I tried to leave Rheinland and head back to Liberty. The Unioners in northern Hamburg almost killed me (I had enough money for a new ship, but hadn't been able to find a replacement for my Starflier). When I completed the jump to Bering, another group of Unioners finished destroying my Starflier. Fortunately, a nearby Zoner took me back to the last base I visited in Hamburg where Interspace Commerce replaced my Starflier. The next time I tried to leave Rheinland, I headed west through Omega-3 to the Cambridge jump gate. I would have jumped to Cambridge, but a Bretonian Armed Forces gunboat (NPC, not player) blocked the jump gate and stayed there as Red Hessians destroyed my Starflier. Juan_Williams believes that the BAF gunboat captain was on the payroll of the Red Hessians. I changed my tag to Junkers to help Dr. Chong defect, as a small way to get revenge on the BAF. What will my next tag be? I don't have a clue. I do know that the Unioners, Red Hessians and BAF don't have a common enemy, except for Juan_Williams!
Actually the bounty hunters being after the convoy slightly makes sense since they can be roleplayed as either trying to kill the bribed transports because of offers from the other pirate groups to do so or could also have the bh's thinking that they would collect a cash reward for turning in Dr. Chong to the BAF (say offered by a government official that wants to see Dr. Chong gone or a rival researcher).

Already picked and in negotiations.:P

I don't have time, as I have to prepare my character, Juan_Williams, for the event and I have to leave in less than three hours (I'm a taxi driver) on a five hour round trip, so I won't get back home until 7 a.m. After that I'll get some sleep and finish preparing my character.
The event is TODAY, just to be clear. Also, I've contacted Fellow-Hoodlum who has agreed to help keep this event legal! Look forward to seeing all of you!

In order to make the payouts easier for me at the end, one person (preferably the highest ranked character) in each system please take a headcount of the participants and have it ready to transmit to {JM}-Xoria.
There should be a concrete headcount of those leaving with the convoy in Cambridge, a headcount of the BAF forces starting in Leeds, and a headcount of the KNF forces in Kusari.
As to the various pirates, while the pirates may be in competition with each other, please make an attempt to combine the headcounts for all pirates involved.
So essentially, {JM} Xoria is looking for a headcount as follows:
1)Convoy forces starting in Cambridge
2)Lawful forces starting in Leeds
3)Pirates starting in Bretonia (but not in Cambridge or New London)
4)Lawful forces starting in Kusari
5)Pirates starting in Kusari
The fewer numbers I have to collect, the easier things will go.
The purpose of this is that the 100 million credit pot will be divided by the number of players.
Firebird has guaranteed at least a 5 million credit payout to every participant, so if there are more than 20 participants, the first 20 to get in line for the payout will receive 5 million, and Firebird will have to meet with the rest later. In those circumstances, those of you who are more patient, please volunteer to meet with Firebird later.
FYI, {JM}Xoria will not be counted as a participant for the purposes of the payout, but another of my pilots will be participating and receive a payout. In the event of greater than 20 participants, my pilot will receive payment at a later time.
I realize that I am being trusted with a lot of credits here, and I intend to conduct this with the highest level of integrity and efficiency.
Once the convoy reaches New London, I will be involved in my own participation in the event, so please do not transmit headcount data to me after that point. Once the Convoy has reached Tau 31, JM Xoria will be again be available for headcount data. If all goes smoothly, I will be able to make payouts to the Bretonian lawfuls and unlawfuls after the convoy reaches Kusari, but before the convoy reaches Honshu. This will depend on whether or not I have a received a final count of the participants at that time.

One additional note: I need a nuetral char, with apprpriate ID to follow the convoy as a "camera" man. I want a lot of good "shots" taken of this event, I'll pay 5 million personally to who ever volunteers. Thanks!
It's already "TONIGHT" in half the world, including Australia and Russia. Actually, I'm not sure about Australia because they're on the other side of that International Dateline, so I don't know if it's TONIGHT, TOMORROW NIGHT or LAST NIGHT! You'll have to ask an Aussie or a Kiwi about that one. Anyway, the event was supposed to be at Noon CST, which is 1 p.m. EST or 5 p.m. GMT -- i.e. 34 minutes from now. Has it been rescheduled? I hope so, as I still have about two hours of preparations needed for my character. I can't even play now, as I have to leave home in a few minutes to take a customer to work.

Well, from my point of view, I can't say this could have gone much better. I would like to offer my congratulations and thanks to Joe and Firebird for organizing this and for it coming out to a great event. Hopefully we can get some more in the future.
A toast to all those involved, especially our organizers (Joe and Firebird).
