After recent events with Rheinland and IC i began to wonder why would Rheinland companies still use Non rheinland ships? i mean they have a civilain fighter and freighter but what about a Miner? i mean why would Rheinland use a Miner built by a Liberty Company?(most civilian class ships are built in Liberty afaik) so here are some thoughts i dont have the Digital design skils to make modles so if some one could and PM me them id be very thankful.(NOTE: these are ment to be similar to the Small mining ships we have now Surveyor/Scraper/Arrastra Not to be the same as the Hegemon
Bretonia:
The "Crab"
Designed in a project between the Bretonian Government and BMM. This ship is designed to latch onto and scrape away and any ore while also being able to filter smog clouds which are a common sight with in the Leeds system.
Liberty:
The "Wood-Pecker"
Designed in the heart of Liberty by DSE durring the Colorado Silver rush. She aint pretty but she gets the job done. This ship will literally hammer away at any asteroid until its contents fly into space were it can then be collected by a waiting convoy
Rheinland:
The "Grinder"
Designed in an Extremely rare join effort by DHC and Kruger this is truly a monster of burden. 3.5ft think walls of Reinforced radiation shielding designed to take the worst Radiation that could be thrown at it in the burning fields of Omega 11. This ship not only boasts impressive armor but an astoundingly large about of Nanobots and batteries for a ship of its size.This ship has been seen coming into port with Fresh diamonds melted into its armor never to be removed.
Kusari:
The "Air Dragon"
Built and Designed by a rare joint team of Kishiro & Samura. The ship can both mine ore and gas having to small gas processing centers on board. With 2 large canisters for gas processing and small center container for Ore this is truly a ship to behold.
So thoughts? do you think they could fit in game? I know I don't have Art for them I'm hoping that I might be able to get some one to to make them maybe some one here will? well ill just wait for response
Sorry Im Not a modeler but i know there are people on here that are i guess i was hoping too much to see some one try to model one or 2 of them preferably the rheinland one it sounds like it would looks nice
This topic has come up several times I believe and the BMM were close to getting a line in such but it didn't come to fruition.
These designs, except the woodpecker, sound great to me and I believes its been to long for everyone to keep using the same heggie. So far the only other group to get such in is the GMS, so kudos to them.

Yeah i wont lie i sturggled coming up with the wood pecker so any one with any better ideas for a Liberty one please do say so and also designs would be nice though ive now said that 3 times >_>
I think the idea is good. But without ships modeled and ready to go. The devs/admins will not touch it. They got to much work already, and so far 2 devs have pretty much called it quits. To many demands(good and bad) for this or that have made alot of unpaid work unfun for devs, and they are fed up.
I am not sure who designed the current civilian line, but I doubt it is exclusively built in Liberty.
The heavier fighter are sold all over and we can see generic transports being built by Yokohama.
But yeah this won't go anywhere till you find someone willing to model them.
