[color=#FFFFFF]Ok here's a quick rundown of my favorite genre
Homeworld 1 - excellent in story, presentation, graphics if you live in the 90s. Ship and camera controlls a bit of pain to learn
Homeworld: Cataclysm Possibly the best that could have been done with the HW1 engine and gametype
Homeworld 2: Forget what I said so far this is the very definition of space strategy game. I cannot being to describe how ridiculously good it is
Sins Of A Solar Empire: The single player is more retarded than the Para Olympics but the multiplayer with friends is one of the best strategy experiences you can get
Star Wolves: Played a bit uninstalled it
X series: Incredibly good, emphasis on X2 the thread and X3: Reunion (the irony) it is one of the best sim/strategy games out there if you can get past the learning curve which isn't a curve at all but a wall at which you are heading with something like 160mph
Nexus: Retarded missions, retarded story, retarder characters. BUT the best tactical space combat there is. The best controls there are, the best graphics for a space sim. Battles ahead in the game are pure fun
' Wrote:X series is pretty massive but has no multiplayer.
Exactly.
X³ Reunion and Terran Conflict.
I highly recomend X-Tended (free MOD of the year for both) and allot of the addone scripts you can find in the big community.
