The Gas Miners Guild [GMG] are back from the ashes of war.
Introduction
The Gas Mining Guild is a tight-knit professional organisation that acts as the primary H-Fuel supplier to the major houses. We are an independant company that operates around the distribution and mining of fuel for the colonies, among other various resources. We aim to continue the legacy that our forefathers fought for in their struggle against Rheinland.
Company Goal
To offer a quality service to all factions (other than those we consider hostile) to provide H-Fuel, a resource needed to power most ships engines and systems, among other resources we may discover.
How we fit into the existing galaxy
H-fuel is an important resource in Freelancer, as it basically powers every ship in the galaxy. Were trying to set up an H-Fuel dependant galaxy, basically like the real world, which would add yet another dimension to the good RP found within this server.
Our guild would like to arrange contracts with other existing guilds to deliver vast quantities of H-Fuel, in which the other guilds pay us per unit they buy, and then they can sell it on if they wish to a base, which buys it for more. If this concept was to become active, it would add yet another touch of realism to the game.
The Freelancer GMG faction currently is at war with Rheinland (Im sure your all familiar with the 80 year war), yet is friendly with the three other houses, so pirate guilds such as Hogosha, Corsairs and the Outcasts are considered as hostile.
**Notes**
This guild proposal is still in very early days, please go easy on the post:)
Any improvements or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
This post will be updated and changed as we progress.

I think it's a good idea. With all the dang pirates (I know, I know, like I'm one to talk;)) it's good to see another trading faction. I was thinking just the other day that we were missing a GMG faction.
And hey, with the next mod you'll get a real gas transport! =)
Not to say there's nothing wrong with the idea; there probably is. But at first glance, it looks to me like it's got good potential.
EDIT: However...this is your first post? How long have you been on the server? You might try to lurk moar (as some would say) and look around, post a little first. Some might not take you seriously since this is your first post. Just a suggestion.

Indeed you are running that risk, however a decent GMG faction would go a long way. May I recommend you sit on this idea for a while? Running a faction is expensive business. You will want to accumulate allot of cash first and then spend it wisely affter you form the faction. (Battleships should be dead last on spending priorities.) Then you have recruitment, keeping your faction up to date on the forums. It is allot of work. It will not run smoothly for quite some time. Be ready to commit.
indeed friend stick at the server for about 2 to 4 weeks atleast get your fund's together and try and rummage up some member's and stick at it thing's do run rather bumpy at 1st lot of miss trust getting the actual clan started and on its feet keeping and recruiting the right men.
but please do try and stick it out after you have done these i was saying the other day to someone we need more trader's and lawful's. pirate lawful balance is a bit well unbalanced
Luckily GMG is a faction where you can make lots of money trading, and also lots of fun shooting people.
good luck to you, this seems to be pretty well organized.
I believe we talked in game, and I said a well organized GMG faction would be a welcome addition, as we didn't
currently have one on the books. Get your guys organized and put together your roleplay backstory, and I'm
sure it will be fine. Take your time, and get some diplomacies sorted out with those factions on your neutral and
friendly list.
