Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Sub Lieutenant Raven signing in for a short, but important patrol report.
I've been finishing a quick sweep through the California system as I've encountered a rather well known Rogue. Callsign LR-Cross.Eyed.Gunner. He was piloting a Barghest, as usual, though this time He fired up the cruise engines as soon as He spotted me. He was heading towards the Whitney Ice Field, since I didn't want him to get away, I've started to pursue him into the field.
It didn't take too long until I've spotted something big on my scanners, a rather big energy signal, that is. This Rogue led me to a hidden base deep within the Ice Field, the Alcatraz Depot. Maybe He was trying to lure me into a trap, or He was just stupid, I am not sure, but I've made it out alive and in one piece, I've also retrieved all the data I possibly could get.
First of all, I could make out several Weapons Platforms spread around the base.
There were altogether three of them, each one equipped with two laser turrets that can deal quite a moderate amount of damage.
<div align="right]
The following is a guncam shot, and a structure scan of the base itself. The bases defensive systems are quite dangerous, equipped with, amongst others, two EMP turrets that were overloading my shields with just one hit. The rest of the turrets were standard base defensive laser turrets.
And the structure scan, I've marked the defensive turrets yellow.

The exact coordinates of the base are the following.

Today was an interesting day to say the least, let me start off with Planet Manhattan most well know smuggler, The_Raven.
As always, he was hanging around Manhattan, but he dumped his load before I could get close enough to him to see it. Knowing what he had done, I ordered him to leave Planet Manhattan, and the surrounding areas. He felt it would be wise to be a wise ass and fly as slow as possible, I let him know that his tactic was not going to fly, by loading him with a face full of Nova.
To the next mishap, some Lane Hacker, going by the name Phantom_Hacker thought it was a good idea to start shooting up Manhattan with some rookies. Well, as you may already know, I proved his littler theory wrong, he got to go home in a Pod....
Lastly, I hoped onto the Groom Lake to look for some Keepers, for a split second I made visual on the targets near Riverside. I had then decided to dispatch a team to locate and extract these blue "thingys".
The team is still working on this, I will report fully on this if they are found.
My fellow pilots, I'd like to start by saying it's a true pleasure to be back on the force and serving our fair Liberty with honor and integrity. It feels like a lifetime ago that I was taken out of active duty due to an injury sustained during a Rogue skirmish. With my wounds healed and my ship repaired, I once more take flight into the star sea to be the eyes of our blind lady Justice.
I had the distinct pleasure of patrolling with Catherine Raven today. She's newly promoted, but as level-headed as always. Besides some spirited conversation though, not much else occurred in space. As we finished our patrol of the core and outer systems, we came upon a Bretonian Firefly by the call sign of "The_Raven". Local comm chatter picked up a request from the aforementioned vessel for the sale of cardamine. This ship bears a significant resemblance to another Bretonian Firefly I've seen by the call sign of "The_Defiler".
I hate to be hasty in my conclusions, but a possible operation may be springing up under our noses. Of course, The Raven gave a long winded explanation for his solicitation that amounted to nothing more than a pathetic cover for his true intentions. However, the hold was empty and he seemed to be a minimal threat. Whoever his potential dealer was decided not to show. Catherine gave him a stern warning and we let him be on his way. I'll keep a special eye out for that one.
Besides that situation, nothing of interest is left to report.

Spotted a contraband smuggler, he was carrying Black Market Munitions inbound for the Ontario System. I intercepted him near the Cortez Jumpgate, in the California System, and quickly called in Lt. Kapinos for firepower support in case things would get rough.
After demanding him to drop his cargo he initially refused, so I told Kapinos to put a little dent to his prized ship. Looked like he quickly changed his mind.
But he still wanted to play games with us. Dropping only a portion of his cargo, we had to give a few more dents to his ships before he finally complied.
Now was the last part. Paying the fine for smuggling contraband. He decided to pretend he was poor, after contemplating what to do he tried to use the situation to run away...

Greetings Ma'am's and Sir's,
I started a lone shift around NY. I went straight for California as I heard that there were pirates amidst. Nearing Planet LA, I found a USI convoy headed for California Minor. I decided to escort said convoy to the location and then after dropping off the good ole H-fuel. I escorted them convoy to Trenton Outpost.
After this, I patrolled NY. I found nothing until I went to Texas JG. I spotted two rogues on the lane. They quickly left after,LR-Demented.Drive(Werewolf), shouted, "Shut Up, navy boy." I found that they relocated to WP to Norfolk lane. Since it was two against one, the only choice I had was to hold em off until backup could arrive. One of em shot me and almost got my shields. I returned fire as best as I can but to no avail. A freelancer came by and wanted to help but he was destroyed after engaging Dan_Bizzare(fighter) and then they stopped shooting suddenly. I told them I just wanted to talk and they went inside the Badlands, their own turf.
And then a navy pilot came to even out the odds, LN-Reventon(fighter), we still talked and talked and talked and talked and talked and talked and talked until another navy pilot shows up ,Samantha_Silverfall(fighter). And then we talked again for a few more minutes. A Lane Hacker shows up, Cole.Davies(fighter), and evens out the odds for the pirates. We talked again and then a Barghest Bomber, Rogues:.Shikamaru_Nara, shows up.
I decided that the best plan was just to cordon off the entire lane from civilian shipping as to avoid any problems. We covered both lanes and held for as long as the pirates were there. After a few minutes, I sent Reventon to scout the lane. The lane was cleared and I figured that they relocated(again). A trader spoke of pirates on the lane to Texas JG. I'm sure it was the same pirates as before. We assembled a strike group at Norfolk consisting of:
Two fighters on our side went down after some minutes into the fray. [LN]Mark.Dering immediately responded to the distress call and then more and more reinforcements came:
The tide turned in favor of us and we managed to disable three of the pirates. Mark and Matt went to Texas while chasing a OC Tridente. They lost the Tridente but spotted a smuggler, Sava'. They chased it up until Beumont and then another smuggler, carrying Cardamine, showed up in their scanners but this time they managed to stop it and destroy the fleeing ship. Gold.3 ordered us to secure the perimeter whilst waiting for [LN]-LLS-San.Mateo. It took two trips before we could clean up the place.
*Forgot to install a gun-cam after the last repairs
For Freedom and Justice,
Sub Lieutenant Remus Sius
I've noticed that many excellent patrol reports are quite long with many gun-cam photos. I've decided to go the other direction and try minimalism. And so here is an Abbie mini report.
The following ships wandered into Texas this afternoon:
