For sure. Assets are not the focus at the moment as the current objective is to have clean implementations of the main gameplay systems so their interaction can be tested and proofed.
There's no lack of people willing to contribute, but there is little use to create new assets until pre-alpha is ready and semi-final guidelines can be given.
Got some time to work on this a wee bit. Hardpoints (and angular clamping) are fully functional and some improvements have been made to the flight model. A basic version of the shooting mechanics has been implemented as well.
