"Mister Siderman." Austin said, growing tired of his own introduction to the new recruits. "Your application looks great, I have to admit. Local Youth Brigade?" He asked, rhetorically, remembering something about that program starting up a while back, before the war.
He shook his head, and glanced past the man, noting the Recruitment office was starting to get busy. "Well, we have some lads waiting behind you so if you can go ahead and fill out this questionnaire." He slid a piece of paper forwards to the man.
Quote:1.) How many Bretonian fleets are there, and what is the flag ship of each?
2.) Name two people on the Admiralty board?
3.) Who is the Bretonian Prime Minister?
4.) Name four of our enemies, excluding the Kusari Empire.
5.) If a trader is caught running the Leeds-Stokes blockade, what do you do?
6.) Name all the Bretonian combat vessels and their registration number. (Fighters/Bombers/Capital ships)
7.) You are in the commanders chair of a Bretonian Destroyer. You are leading a mix fleet of Outcasts, Bretonians, and Kusari rebels. Between you and Planet Leeds stands two Kusari battleships. He nodded looking over the questions, "You're missing three fleets." He said lightly, "However you're good to go. Ensign Warren Siderman, you'll be assigned to the Leeds Planetary fleet. Room and board will be giving to you on the Derby as well as the Leeds Military Base. Side arm can be picked up on the Derby with your Quarter master."
He gave the young man a slight salute. "Good luck lad, see you in space."
He shuffled some papers together and looked down. "Mister Zalus Rockwell..." He mumbled lightly raising an eyebrow. "Rockwell..." He repeated, then shook his head. "Mister Zalus Rockwell! Come in lad."
Zalus' heart raced when he heard the name call, and approached the office. He didn't move towards it exceptionally fast. Rather slow, actually. The truth was he didn't know how he needed to come off to the recruiter. Eager, show that he wants this job? Or calm, showing some maturity and restraint? An external sigh ended the internal struggle and he decided on the calm route before smoothing out the wrinkles on his attire and proceeding through the door.
His shoes stepped quietly into the office, where he saluted the person behind the desk, and asked with an even, normal voice "You asked to see me, sir?"
He hoped his heart, that beat relentlessly against his ribcage wouldn't show through his jacket, and that his thick Liberty accent wouldn't lower his chances.
"Thick Libertorian accent you have there." Austin said calmly looking up at the man, who had saluted him, out of random. "Tell me, are you related to a Sipher Rockwell?"
He said leaning back in his chair, collecting his thoughts and waiting for the reply to his question. "Don't worry, personal question, won't effect your entrance either way."
He had been holding his own breath, Zalus realized, and exhaled loudly in an attempt to make it seem like he was pondering. The man's relaxed attitude slowed his heart rate a bit, but there was really no necessary pondering. He shrugged.
"Maybe? I'd never known any extended family, just my parents, and they never talked about anyone else." He gave a slight frown. "To be honest, I've never had the money to get off planet until I was taking care of myself."
"Well, Mister Rockwell, I have some questions here you need to fill out, as well as an agreement." He slide two pieces of paper forwards, and then a pen.

Zalus sat himself in front of the desk and over-viewed the questionnaire, nodded to himself a couple times, and got down to the task. His scrawl was clean - one might say he had a woman's writing - and his work was not interrupted at all. After finishing the artwork that was his handwriting, he slid the papers and pen back to the man who had yet to introduce himself, and leaned back a bit. His heartbeat still heavy, he reached into his jacket and retrieved a fine cigarette case, and almost opened it before asking, "Do you mind?"
"Hm, question one is wrong." He said looking over the paper. "Though I do like how you know the Fleet Capital ships." He set the paper down. "As nothing else is wrong. Ensign Zalus Rockwell, you are to report to the Derby Fleet. Once on Derby you'll be given a room and board, and will acquire a standard issue sidearm from your Quarter master."
A thin smile appeared on his lips, "Welcome to the Armed Forces lad. You're dismissed, See you in space."
He waited for the new Ensign to leave and then shouted, "Next!"
Alexander Lawrence was very well dressed and he barged through the two doors eager to get started. He walked up to the front desk were a women passed him a document requiring all his life infomation. He recieved it and sat down at one of the tables and pulled a pen out of his blazer.

Lawrence put his pen back in his Blazer and stood up. He took a deep breath and walked over to the front desk were he handed over his form. He then sat down awaiting a reply from the Recruitment Officer Austin Goodman.
