Perhaps some people have any solution to solve this problem too?
It's really annoying having capital ships being bumped by NPC swarms multiple times
90% of difficulty I have to defeat NPC or player battleships because my ship is constantly rotated by bumped NPC swarms.
Perhaps is it possible to enable impact damage only for NPC at least?
FLHook solves this problem for most vanilla servers. Disco went whole ham on the mass values which breaks the formula for the fix. The only way this will be fixed is if Disco re-balances caps entirely without using the mass value as the speed/handling anchor.
I'm also assuming you meant to but this in bug reports?

Yeah it would look better in bug report.
I thought perhaps another solution could be found.
Something like... an additional anti-bumping shield for big capitals?
Reversing ships which are below some threshold in relation to the capital ship parameter.
And so it would be, that the thread was moved into Discovery Mod General Discussion, for while it concerned the mod more than the server, it was not in the format of a bug report, and Champ had been too worried about upsetting the neat ticketing of the devs.
Honestly, snubs shouldn't have the ability to flip caps if they collide with them.
It's a massive pain in the ass during missions with NPCs, and a whole rule exists because of bumping which can be removed if snubs couldn't flip larger ships.

A swarm of multiple NPC fighters+gunboats, that's the pain. I could not align my bs properly to fire at my targets!
Let's enable death by ramming ships. This rule would be enforced much easier
