Here at the Guild of St Patrick we raise funds and commodities for those in need across Sirius however we are an administration unit only contracting others to move those commodities and supplies that others need.
Unfortunately some of those contractors have either let us down with key shipments or have proved less than honest.
A recent acquaintance suggested that we should fund a ship or two of our own but that would leave the question of whose flag we should fly under. That acquaintance suggested the OSI.
Much scanning and investigation into the OSI reflected one glaring factor which that your reputation, honesty and flare are second to none.
We therefore respectfully request that you allow us and indeed myself as the principle pilot into the OSI.
We need no funding and are able to purchase the best transport suited for our purpose and such transport is available to task by the OSI if we are not at that time employed on Guild business.
Mr John Deer
Thank you for your message, this is MISS Celcius Abonwood here.
An interesting message i must admit, its not often i have a small business wishing to join the ranks of OSI. Usually its regular trade pilots who own a ship and a dream.
Onto your request though, i respect and encourage the sort of work that you do and though i have no issue with OSI supporting such activity, generally those who join OSI, work for OSI. Its not a case of you do what you want until your called, its not something we have done before, at least not during my time with OSI.
In general i expect my ships to be fulfilling the day to day jobs that are associated with our group, whether that's supplying the Manufacturing projects on Nichols, taking food water and other essentials to our brethren Freeport's or ensuring our obligations to our contracts are met.
So i would need to know what you will be intending to do with your "guild" whilst flying under OSI colours. Where you intend to go, what you intend to transport so on. Because once you are using our name we, namely I, become responsible for your actions. Ill admit I'm not entirely happy about the idea that your only available as an OSI asset when your not busy on your own business, however dependent on what you wish to transport and where, it maybe that your guild becomes the "Charitable arm" of OSI.
Of course that is entirely up to you, if this isn't something your open to i would recommend contacting Med Force Enterprises. They are more geared towards the sort of work you are describing.
Many thanks for your your reply and I fully understand your concerns. The Guild is a charitable organisation and have supported many causes and in particular the MFE with a donation of a Liner Mobile Hospital.
Perhaps my request may be more fitting if I state that an OSI flagged ship would meet OSI means first and guild matters second.
The Guild only contract transport for charitable commodities to peaceful and lawful bases and in particular those where the occupants are threatened by illness or system breakdowns that threaten life. We do not move arms or weapons any where at any time.
The Guild was formed by our Patron who has since passed away, after spending a lifetime touring Sirius healing the sick and homeless. As a result he received donations from many good people and we only try emulate his good intentions.
We have been offered "the flag" of many houses but have turned them down as we exist for the good of all and as such we can assure you that we would never dishonour the OSI name. Indeed none of our ship carry weapons not even for defensive purposes. That does not prevent us from evading or even taking preventive precautions from avoiding conflict.
As I have said, in the past we have contracted many logistic companies to move our donated commodities but that has backfired upon us many time as those flagged haulers did not always operate in the best interest of us or others but only themselves. That is why we sought an honest company with the reputation that OSI has and we would not wish to damage that.
Please note that we do not consider not consider ourselves as a business and as a charity we are at the request of anyone who it is deemed need assistance.
I apologise for the incorrect salutation on my original request to you and please look upon our request with kindness.
Mr John Deer
I will give you the benefit of the doubt, and will support you and yours with your charity work by offering you a place within OSI, though as a formality i do ask you head to our recruitment net and post an application there. I will however send you the application now just to save time but if you could put your details here for the sake of our own records.
I look forward to seeing your application and working with you.
