Battleship Ravensburg - Stuttgart System - Orbit of Planet Baden Baden - 2230 Hours zulu time
The room was quite large for beeing part of a Battleship.
Once entering the room a couch set could be seen on the right side with a freshwater aquarium behind it.
The walls have been decorated with old sailor knots and a few pictures of places on Planet Nurembergs surface.
On the right side there was a desk niched, beeing right next to the window.
Behind the desks main chair, there was a modell of an old sailing boat decorating the room.
A gift from Admiral Krieger shortly after Admiral Maltes promotion. She was currently sitting at her desk and working. The door to her bunk was closed.
Admiral Malte picked up the phone and contacted her XO Kapitaen Ulbing to call one of her men onboard and into her office.
Soon after an announcement could be heard over the Rheinland command frequency, regarding a Hauptgefreiter Von Lorryhofen.
The pilot in question was ordered to the Ravensburg to obey Admiral Maltes orders.
A few minutes passed until Hauptgefreiter Von Lorryhofen made his way to the Battleship and find Admiral Maltes quarters.
The Admiral was sitting at her desk and looking at a pilots dossier when someone knocked at her quarters doors.
Admiral Malte:[color=#33FF33]Ja? Herrein Soldat.
A brown haired 1.80 meters tall man entered the room. He was only 2 cm taller thank her.
Manfred Von Lorryhofen was about to say "Admiral, reporting in as ordered." when the Admiral took him the wind out of the sails. All he could do was saluting.
Admiral Malte:[color=#33FF33]Was your coffee tasting good?
Manfred Von Lorryhofen:Sir?
Admiral Malte:Just respond with a 'Yes'. This way you save yourself from facing me beeing enraged.
Manfred Von Lorryhofen was confused when responding
Manfred Von Lorryhofen: Jawohl Sir.
Admiral Malte:Take a seat Soldier.
The pilot sat down and removed his beret from his head.
Admiral Malte was still standing. Her anger could be seen in every single fiber of her face.
Admiral Malte:Hauptgefreiter Manfred Von Lorryhofen, do you know why Rheinland still exists?
Manfred Von Lorryhofen:Sir, I believe.......
Signing ones deathwish was never as easy as by daring to speak up in this verry moment.
Admiral Malte:[color=#33FF33]I DID NOT EXPECT YOU TO ANSWER MEIN HERR! Who the hell do you think you are?
Can you tell me? Can you? Now dare to answer Hauptgefreiter Von looryhofen!
What are you thinking when beeing disobedient?
Can you even think? I doubt so mein Herr. I DOUBT it!
Hell was now a nice cold place where a vacation would be most enjoyable.
Beeing enraged like this made Admiral Malte forget to answer her question.
Admiral Malte:I have one report on my desk mein Herr, regarding about your sorry behind!
It says your behaviour endangered a lot of Civilians today.
Also you have put your comrades life at risk while ignoring orders from your wingleader.
The last one pulling this show ended in a box. And its just a phrase.
His frozen body is still drifting outside in the Bering system, next to his crashed Wrath.
Maybe you should be dead after this insubordinate behaviour of yours.
Just hand me your gun Hauptgefreiter and let me spare us your disreputeable appearance!
You seem to be a disgrace for the uniform.
The Admiral seemed to be trying to burn holes into Manfred Von Lorryhofen by staring into his eyes.
She was looking for an emotion, not excuses.
Hard words she was throwing at the Hauptgefreiter.
Admiral Malte:If you don't want me to release you from your vow uppon the Rheinland flag by wasting a bullet, what should I do with you then mein Herr?
She took a seat and picked up the dossier. After going through a few pages, she looked back up at the Hauptgefreiter.
Admiral Malte:A promising pilot. At least someone would think this when browsing your history and records.
How could you turn on the Kanzler, the Volk and our beloved Vaterland like this?
I believe there is no answer to that.
The Admiral stood up from her desk and walked over to the window. A great view could be witnessed due to Planet Baden Baden beeing verry close.
Admiral Malte made a deep breath.
Admiral Malte:Hauptgefreiter Manfred Von Lorryhofen, hand me your rank insignias. You are beeing demoted to a common Gefreiter again.
All your achieved requirements for the promotions are beeing taken as well. You are a fresh promoted Gefreiter again.
Be glad I am giving you this one time chance mein Herr.
Not many pilots can say that I gave them a second chance.
I sugguest you take it and don't make me regret not putting a bullet up your head.
If I ever find you putting my men at unnessecary risk and ignore direct orders from a superior again......
She was not in the need of finishing her explanations any further.
Admiral Malte: Dismissed. From now on you only will make me proud. Understood Gefreiter Von Lorryhofen?
Manfred Von Lorryhofen made a distraught and relieved face at the same time while saluting the Admiral.
Manfred Von Lorryhofen:Yes Sir!
The soldier left Admiral Maltes quarters in a rush. It could have ended worse than recieving just a demotion.
He would not dare to disgrace the uniform anymore. That was for sure.
Beeing with the Admiral in one room while she was enraged by one soldiers deeds, was deterrent enough.
