James LaBrie sat in the conference room of the Metropolis. Seated across from him was the new Taskmaster Harold Kane. Both were looking at a quickly-scribbled diagram on the table.
"Err.. are we actually going through with this..?", Kane asked nervously.
"Of course we are lackey! She wouldn't do it otherwise.. anyways. SEND IN THE BANDIT!", LaBrie howled into the intercom.
Soon, a very nervous looking Azriel Dukai walked into the room. LaBrie handed him a large crate which made a familiar sounding "clinking" noise. This noise was usually associated with Paddy Hughs.
Dukai picked up the crate and walked out to the bridge. Jada Zachary, looking as radiant and terror-inspiring as usual, was waiting for him. "Get a move-on Bandit. You'll be my pet slave for today's 'adventures'..", Zachary said, then the duo walked towards the hangar bay.
By the time the VR-VGS-Take.The.Time was nearing the New York jumpgate, Zachary had already downed the majority of the crate. She was singing, while Dukai piloted the gunship to Buffalo. Upon arrival, with soothing reassurances, he lead the wasted Warlady to Syphleed's quarters, where she promptly fell at his feet, kissing them. Dukai helped the Warlady to her feet, and got her back on board the gunship.
The next morning, Harold Kane was walking down one of the corridors of the Metropolis when he heard a loud thump sound. He quickly strode down the corridor, and opened the nearest trash compartment, where he was shocked to discover Azriel Dukai, in pieces. Looking up, far down the corridor he could see the Warlady striding away.
Breen sat at his desk on Arranmore, reading the reports.
He rubbed his temples as he glanced over this request, and then dropped his hands to the desk, chuckling slightly. He sent a simple message straight back to the Rogues and Vagrant Raiders containing the vote of the Mollies:
Nay.
It was an easy choice for him, unlike some he faced now.
